The "Tirita" of Pinar del Rio (en,/en)

Hello beautiful and geographic community of Worldmappin.

Today I invite you to join me for a passing visit to a place that I have had the opportunity to travel to in the last few weeks with a purely artistic objective.

As it is very common in the countryside (especially in Cuba) the places are full of toponyms of all kinds. And when I say all kinds I am talking about a great diversity.

The place that today I propose you to accompany me, is one of those that one wonders. Well, where did that name come from?

I had heard the name many times, because it is well known in this province of Pinar del Rio, Cuba for the trafficking and slaughter of horses and other domestic animals.

When riding in the horse-drawn cart confused by @juliom , husband of @yanerkisdias , and both hivers.a whose house I was heading. When I asked the driver for the name of the place where amos transits at that time, at that moment, he replied: la Tirita.
Anyd I replied admiringly: la Trita!.

Then he made it clear to me that really. The place where he lives, more in the lowlands, is called "el ,maguey" or Magueyes. Everyone generalizes it as "La tirita".

For me, that neighborhood there by the three and a half of the road of Luis Lazo, already very close to the mountain range in the Sierra de los Organos , has been a place theoretically mythical by all the amount of legends around what I said at the beginning .

But I recognize that I thought of a place that looked more like a small western town or something like that. But .just like everywhere else jad housing gift according to economic possibilities of each one. And people as common and normal as everywhere. Of course I also saw some exemplary characters that reminded me why the name transcended beyond the limits of the neighborhood, to become a kind of geographical legend.

But as I told you, my main objective, the place where ñyI was headed, was still a little further down the hill, at the foot of the gentle s 99lope, in "El Maguey

But while I was talking with Juliom and the horse-drawn carriage was rattling on the uneven terrain, I was enjoying the panoramic views of the beautiful country scenery with the green blue hills almost mountains of the Cordillera de los Organos,
with the famous Cerro de Cabras in sight. It is the highest point of the mountain range.

Hola hermosa y geográfica comunidad de Worldmappin.

Hoy los convido a que me acompañen a una visita así de pasadita, a un lugar que al que he tenido la oportunidad de viajar en las ultimas semanas con un objetivo meramente artístico.

Como es muy comun en los campos ( sobre todo en Cuba ) los lugares estan llenos de topónimos de todos tipos. Y cuando digo de todo tipo estoy hablando de una gran diversidad.

El lugar que hoy les propongo me acompañen, es uno de eso que uno se pregunta . Bueno ,y de donde salio ese nombre?

El referido nombre yo lo había escuchado muchas veces, porque es de reconocida fama en esta provincia de Pinar del Río ,Cuba por el trafico y sacrificio de caballos y otros animales domésticos.

Cuando montado en el carro tirados por caballos confundido por @juliom , esposo de @yanerkisdias , y ambos hivers.a cuya casa me dirigia. Cuando le pregunto a el conductor por el nombre del lugar por dónde transita amos en ese momento, en ese momento , me respondió.: la Tirita.
Y yo replique admirado: la Trita!

Entonces me aclaro que realmente. El lugar donde el vive , mas en el bajío , se llama "el ,maguey" o los Magueyes. Todos lo generalizan como La tirita."

Para, mi esa barriada allá por el tres y medio de la carretera de Luis Lazo, ya muy cerca de la cadena montañosa en la Sierra de los Organos , ha sifo un lugar teóricamente mitico por toda la cantidad de leyendas alrededor de lo que ya dije al principio .

Peto reconozco que pensé en un lugar de aspecto mas de como pueblito de película del Oeste o .algo así. Pero .igual que en todas partes jad viviendas don segun lad posibilidades económicas de cada cual. Y la gente tan común y normal como en todas partes.claro que tambien vi algunos ejemplares personajes que si me recordaron los por que el nombre trascendio mas allá de los limites del barrio, para convertirse en una especie de leyenda geográfica.

Pero como les dije, mi objetivo principal,;el lugar a donde me dirigía , era todavía un poco mas loma abajo, al pie de la suave pendiente, en ";el Maguey".

Pero mientras conversaba ,con Juliom y el carro tirado por cel caballo, traqueteaba por la irregularidad del terreno, yome extaciaba con las vistas panorámicas de unos hermosos paisajes campestres con la verde azules lomas casi montañas de la cordillera de los Organos,
con el famoso Cerro de Cabras a la vista que constituye el punto mas alto de la cordillera .

Gracias por tambien pasar conmigo por el barrio de La Tirita, para llegar hasta el Maguey y disfrutar de las excelentes atenciones de los anfitriones .
