Hello everyone, hello madlang ka-hives ! It’s me again, your Angel !

I’m so excited to share with you one of the most fun, relaxing, and memorable days I’ve had recently . We had an amazing time at Solea Mactan Resort in Cordova, Cebu, and I just had to tell you all about it !

I went there with some of my closest friends and my ever-cool uncle, and let me tell you—it was such a vibe ! From the moment we stepped into the resort, I was already feeling the good energy . The entire place looked like a scene straight out of a postcard . The skies were so blue, the palm trees gently swayed with the breeze, and the peaceful sound of the waves instantly relaxed all my senses . It was definitely love at first sight for me .

As soon as we arrived, we didn’t waste any time—we went around and explored the place . Every corner was IG-worthy, especially the beachside area with the iconic "Solea" sign. Of course, we had to stop and take lots (and I mean lots) of photos ! It was like paradise everywhere you looked, and I just couldn’t get enough of it .

The swimming pools were huge and super inviting . There were so many options, some with slides, others with relaxing lounge areas, and even an infinity pool overlooking the sea ! We couldn’t resist jumping in right away . We swam, splashed around, laughed, and just enjoyed being in the moment . We even had some friendly water fights, and it honestly felt like we were kids again .

Speaking of feeling like kids, one of the biggest highlights of our day was the mini water park inside the resort ! I didn’t expect it to be that fun, but oh my goodness—we had the best time there . There were slides, inflatables, and splash zones that brought out everyone’s playful side . We were running around, screaming, laughing, and sliding down like there was no tomorrow . If you ever visit Solea, make sure to spend time there—it’s a total must !

And guess what ? The day pass or entrance fee is super worth it . For just ₱2,500, you get lunch and dinner buffet included, plus unlimited access to all the swimming facilities and the inflatable water park . You also get towels and can use the resort’s amenities all day long . It’s such a steal, especially when you consider the quality and service they provide . Kids aged 0-4 years old can enter for free, and those aged 5-12 years old get 50% off, so you only have to pay ₱1,250 for them . Family-friendly and budget-friendly ? Yes, please !

1000008982.jpg

If you’re thinking of staying overnight, the room rates start at ₱4,088 per night for two people . It’s the perfect option for couples, barkadas, or even small families who want a relaxing escape from the city . The rooms are clean, cozy, and just what you need for a nice staycation .

Now, let’s talk food . Aside from the buffet, we also tried some snacks and drinks near the poolside area—and wow, everything was delicious ! The service was also top-notch . The staff were super friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces. It really made the experience more special . You know how great service can make all the difference ? That’s exactly how it felt there—very welcoming and chill vibes all around .

1000008947.jpg

One of my favorite parts of the day was the sunset . We sat by the poolside, just watching the sun slowly dip into the horizon . The sky turned this beautiful mix of orange, pink, and purple, and it was just… magical . We didn’t even talk much, we were just soaking in the moment, feeling the breeze, and enjoying the quiet peace of it all . After a full day of fun and laughter, it was the perfect way to wind down .

1000008948.jpg

The whole day reminded me how important it is to pause, breathe, and enjoy life with the people you love . Whether you're swimming, eating, or just lying on a lounge chair by the pool, Solea Mactan makes you feel like you’re on a real vacation, even if it’s just for a day . You don’t need to fly far or spend a fortune to experience something beautiful .

So, if you’re looking for a place to relax, unwind, and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I highly recommend checking out Solea Mactan Resort . It’s perfect for families, friends, couples, and even solo travelers who just want a break. Trust me, once you visit, you’ll find yourself saying, “I want to come back here .”

That’s it for now, madlang ka-hives! Thank you so much for reading my little story . I hope it inspired you to plan your next chill day or staycation . Life can get busy and overwhelming sometimes, but remember—it’s okay to take a break and treat yourself once in a while .

This is your Angel, signing off for now, sunburned but totally happy !

I already commented in your Hadsan Resort post and you failed to recognize nor reply. Please pin the exact location of the post and not your own location. I believe you're located in Minglanilla and that's okay, but the post location is in Mactan Island. So, your pin should be in the exact location of the resort. If you fail to do this, you'll always be forfeiting your chance to be included in the Travel's Digest.
