We haven't been drawing many monsters lately, but mini monster artist still love fantasy. Right now, she is really into the Harry Potter movie series!
When our family visited Porto, Portugal, we heard about a café where Harry Potter was written, so we went there for a snack. The café is called Majestic Café. It felt like stepping into a storybook!
There’s another famous place in Porto that is said to have inspired the Harry Potter world. It’s called Livraria Lello, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. It has magical-looking wooden stairs and bookshelves, just like the library at a wizard school. J.K. Rowling used to visit this bookstore when she lived in Porto.
But now, it has become a big tourist attraction. We need a ticket and have to wait in line to go inside. We just looked through the entrance and decided to skip it.
Having coffee at Majestic Café already felt like being in the Harry Potter world. Mini monster artist has almost finished watching all the movies, so when we get home, she looks forward to reading the stories as paper books.
