La iglesia de Santa Rosa de Lima, ubicada en el pueblo de Santa Rosa a las afueras de la ciudad de Barquisimeto en el estado Lara Venezuela, es un templo de estilo neoclásico el cual en su interior tiene guardada la sagrada imagen de la Divina Pastora, la patrona de esta localidad este templo regala una arquitectura impresionante a todos los turistas, que asisten todos los años miles de personas caminan en la en lo que es conocida la procesión más larga de latinoamérica, como un tributo homenaje especial o en algunos casos muchas promesas que son promesas ofrecidas para la santa madre, esta iglesia fue construida para lograr evangelizar y congregar a este pueblo ya que anteriormente era conocido como el caserío de Santa Rosa.
The Church of Santa Rosa de Lima, located in the town of Santa Rosa on the outskirts of the city of Barquisimeto in the state of Lara, Venezuela, is a neoclassical temple which houses the sacred image of the Divina Pastora, the patron saint of this town. This temple offers impressive architecture to all tourists, who attend every year. Thousands of people walk in what is known as the longest procession in Latin America, as a special tribute or, in some cases, to fulfill many promises made to the Holy Mother. This church was built to evangelize and bring together this town, which was previously known as the hamlet of Santa Rosa.
Esta iglesia se encuentra pintada de color verde claro, con blanco pastel posee una base o Torre que la parte superior tiene el reloj conjuntamente con el campanario, como también esta posee en la parte del frente tres puertas, dos derecha izquierda y una localizada justamente en el centro, que más amplia es forma de arco de punta redondeada estas no son cuadradas siendo la del centro, la que conduce justamente al altar en donde se encuentra la sagrada imagen de la Divina Pastora, estas puertas en la parte de arriba no poseen ventanas, solo hay una ventana en el triángulo, que está justamente encima de la puerta central.
This church is painted light green with pastel white. It has a base or tower with a clock and bell tower at the top, as well as three doors at the front, two on the right and left and one located right in the center, which is wider and has a rounded arch shape. These are not square, and the one in the center leads directly to the altar where the sacred image of the Divine Shepherdess is located. These doors do not have windows at the top; there is only one window in the triangle, which is directly above the central door.
La iglesia también tiene ingreso por las puertas laterales las puertas se encuentran fabricadas en madera pura, lo que le da una belleza bastante clásica sin duda alguna esta iglesia tiene un encanto único, en la parte de adentro es mucho más hermosa pero eso lo vamos a describir en otra publicación los detalles externos que posee, la hacen ver muy estructurada a la vez estética y delicada, en ambas partes laterales se forma diferentes arcos en forma de media luna, ubicados en una parte superior e inferior que estos tienen semejanza de montañas, la primera base inferior esta posee forma de cuadrados, que parece un castillo.
The church also has side doors made of pure wood, which gives it a classic beauty. Without a doubt, this church has a unique charm. The interior is even more beautiful, but we will describe that in another post. The exterior details make it look very structured, yet aesthetic and delicate. On both sides, there are different crescent-shaped arches, located at the top and bottom, which resemble mountains. The first lower base is square in shape, resembling a castle.
Desde el siglo XVII tenemos a esta iglesia, que es todo un espectáculo para cada uno de sus visitantes y turistas de otras partes del mundo, cabe destacar que las otras casonas o edificaciones que están alrededor de la iglesia de Santa Rosa de Lima, están pintadas y tienen la misma estructura de la iglesia lo cual es bastante hermoso, se ve bastante prolijo para los ojos también está el museo de la Divina Pastora en donde están guardadas las ofrendas, así como también cada una de los mantos y pertenencias de la sagrada imagen.
This church has been standing since the 17th century and is a spectacular sight for visitors and tourists from all over the world. It is worth noting that the other mansions and buildings surrounding the church of Santa Rosa de Lima are painted and have the same structure as the church, which is quite beautiful and pleasing to the eye. There is also the Divina Pastora museum, where the offerings are kept, as well as each of the mantles and belongings of the sacred image.
