To continue my adventures from Impasug-ong, today let me share with you fresh memories from Dahilayan, Bukidnon, Philippines.
Probably the most famous attractions here are Dahilayan Adventure Park and Forest Park. These two amusement parks are adjacent to each other, and both offer unique rides and thrilling experiences.
That’s where I’ll be virtually taking you today.
Dahilayan Adventure Park
We decided to go to the Adventure Park first; no particular reason, just a random choice. Here, we tried the shortest of the ziplines and the fun Mountain Razorback ride, which we truly enjoyed.
I realized that every time I visit this place, my go-to ride is the Razorback. I guess I really enjoy the thrill, plus the surrounding views are so relaxing.
After enjoying the rides, we strolled through the man-made forest and, of course, took tons of photos! 😁
Pinegrove Restaurant
After what felt like a million shots, we headed to Pinegrove, the restaurant inside Adventure Park, for lunch.
Surprisingly, the food here was really good! We were satisfied with everything we ordered. Everything was on point. On top of that, we had a relaxing view of the pine trees while dining. Totally worth it. 👌🏼
Dahilayan Forest Park
After lunch, we walked to Forest Park, which has a separate entrance (and a separate entrance fee). We availed an adventure package that included five activities: Luge, Hanging Bridge, Go Kart, Mini Golf, and Bumper Boat.
Among the five, my favorites were the Luge and Bumper Boat. The Luge is a gravity-operated mechanical car you steer and brake yourself. I loved it! It was a perfect mix of fun and relaxation.
The Bumper Boat, similar to bumper cars but on water, was another unexpected favorite. Although I’m scared of deep water, I had so much fun. At first, I tried to avoid others, but once I got the hang of it, I started bumping other boats just for fun! 😁
The Hanging Bridge was also memorable. We initially thought it would be boring. Turns out, we were wrong! The closer we got to the center, the more it swayed. It was thrilling and hilarious at the same time. I didn’t even realize I was holding my breath until I got to the other side and sighed in relief!
I didn’t enjoy the other two activities as much as those three, but I was still glad I was able to try these activities.
Jessie's Diner
Of course, no visit would be complete without a stop at this Instagram-worthy spot. Jessie’s Diner is a retro-inspired eatery serving classic American snacks like burgers, fries, milkshakes, and more.
A lineup of vintage cars is displayed outside the diner, adding to the nostalgic ‘80s vibe of the place.
Dahilayan continues to be one of my favorite places in Bukidnon. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a nature lover, or just someone looking for a fun and scenic escape, this place has something for everyone. It’s a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and each visit leaves me with new memories to treasure. I can't wait to go back again someday and try the rides I’ve missed, or relive my favorites all over again.
Thank you for reading my post up to this point. I hope you have a great time ahead!
I'll take delight in writing for you again soon.
