As for your question, it's a fascinating one.It’s something that crossed my mind too while I was there. And as us daughters usually do, I went to my dad with it. He told me even though it’s officially a communist country, they’ve actually opened up a lot economically. Emerging private businesses, flourishing tourism and the resilience of Vietnamese people.
