Iniciativa Dos milagros: Festejos por la Hispanidad 2025 y la Comunidad Hive

Hola, familia de la Comunidad con verdor esperanza, Green Zone ( #hive-164923 ). Aprovecho la invitación de @neuropoeta y sus milagros de domingo para publicar algunos alegres momentos de la semana pasada, en concreto dos.

Ya ahora sí estoy listo para regalarle a @neuropoeta y a todos ustedes mis dos eventos que tienen parte de milagros cotidianos.

1. Comunidad Theater Inside

Seré breve. Para quien no lo sabe, hace poco más de un mes creé la Comunidad de Teatro Hive Theater-Inside ( #hive-22222 ) porque amo el Teatro y quisiera que se llenara este hogar con todos los relatos afines a estos temas.

Al ser tan nueva -ha llegado a la quinta semana-, no tiene casi seguidores, ni muchas publicaciones. Por un momento pensé que sería la semana más tranquila de todas, pero en el mejor momento se aparece @yepez72 con un post de sabor a zona verde donde entrelaza el Teatro con la vida cotidiana. Cubano al fin él, fue capaz de abrazar nuestras experiencias teatrales a la tan emblemática bebida. Y nos muestra un espacio donde el Café aparece como salvaguarda de los quehaceres performáticos.

¡Qué pasada!

No saben lo feliz que me sentí. Gracias, Dios, que no se ha ido la semana sin que algún amante del Teatro haya pasado por su humilde casa… Pensé.

Grito de alegría. Cuando ya pensaba escribir el post curatorial…, ¿qué ven mis ojos?

De esta manera se viste de gala esta Comunidad para lucirse en un baile de máscaras la exhibición al descubierto que nos inmortaliza, que nos presenta más humanos. Y esa es la belleza alcanzada por las Artes…

2.Festejos por la Hispanidad

Mi segundo milagro de placer y amor artístico-familiar se devela en medio de los Festejos por la Hispanidad.

Joder. La hostia. Es que mi niña artista es bella. No tengo culpa de ser padre orgulloso y feliz. ¿Vale? No pueden echarme la culpa; es de ella.

Estas fiestas se realizan durante todo el mes de octubre; más específico, alrededor del 12 de octubre, Fiesta Nacional de España. Como todos sabemos, tras las históricas uniones de los reinos de España y el Descubrimiento de América…

Por cuestiones del clima, falta de ensayos y otros compromisos, pareciera que la Compañía “Alas”, a la cual pertenece mi niña Lucía, no podría participar.

Sin embargo, por fin pudimos reunirnos en la Plaza Vieja (que no lo es) en la tarde del viernes tuvimos la Gala de Música y Danzas Españolas como parte de estos Festejos.

Existen muchas sociedades españolas en la isla. En voz de la Presidenta Nacional de estas Sociedades, de las 17 Comunidades Autónomas del Reino de España, en Cuba se hayan representadas 11; con más de 30 escuelas que defienden sus Tradiciones, Cultura, Músicas, Danzas…

Quiero compartirles algunas imágenes que representen lo que disfrutamos en mi segundo milagro semanal. Estas las escogí más por la visual representativa de los diferentes colores y agrupaciones que por la música que interpretaron.

El autobús escolar (que costó 465 pesos cada asiento) nos dejó en la Plaza San Fransisco de Asís. Bastó con que la primera niña bailarina gritara: ¡La plaza de las palomas! Para que se formara el corre, corre.

Tendré que repetirlo. No sé para ustedes, pero mi niña se me hace la más bella de todas. Je, je.

Siempre los hay que se avalanzan a las cervezas. En este bar, el Tarro vale 1500 pesos y, el entorno, por supuesto, no podría ser mejor.

De vuelta en la Plaza San Fransisco de Asís, la “guagua” se retrasa más de una hora y volvemos felices a casa. ¿Sabes a lo que me refiero? La satisfacción que te regala el éxito del trabajo artístico junto al Tour familiar por entornos históricos y las risas que lanzamos a la vida; burlándonos de todo…

Gracias @neuropoeta por estas iniciativas milagrosas. Gracias Green Zone por el espacio. Y gracias a ustedes, por leer esta página que vuestro Tío Lucio el viajero les escribe desde las calles del mundo.

Two Miracles Initiative: Celebrations for Hispanic Heritage 2025 and the Hive Community

Hello, family of the Green Zone Community (#hive-164923). I'm taking advantage of the invitation from @neuropoeta and her Sunday miracles to post some joyful moments from last week, two in particular.

Theater Inside Community

I'll be brief. For those who don't know, a little over a month ago I created the Hive Theater-Inside Theater Community ( #hive-22222 ) because I love theater and I would like to fill this home with all the stories related to these themes.

Being so new—it's only been in its fifth week—it has almost no followers or many posts. For a moment, I thought it would be the quietest week of all, but at the perfect moment, @yepez72 appears with a post with a green-zone flavor where he intertwines theater with everyday life. A Cuban after all, he was able to embrace our theatrical experiences with this emblematic beverage. And he shows us a space where coffee appears as a safeguard for performative tasks.

You have no idea how happy I felt. Thank God, that not a week has passed without some theater lover stopping by her humble home… I thought.

BUT…

I shouted with joy. Just as I was thinking of writing the curatorial post… what do my eyes see?

This is how this Community dresses up to show off in a masked ball the uncovered exhibition that immortalizes us, that presents us as more human. And that is the beauty achieved by the Arts…

2. Hispanic Heritage Celebrations

My second miracle of artistic and familial pleasure and love is revealed in the midst of the Hispanic Heritage Celebrations.

Damn. Holy crap. My artist daughter is beautiful. It's not my fault I'm a proud and happy father. Okay? You can't blame me; it's hers.

These celebrations take place throughout the month of October; more specifically, around October 12th, Spain's National Day. As we all know, after the historic unions of the kingdoms of Spain and the Discovery of America…

Due to weather, lack of rehearsals, and other commitments, it seemed that the "Alas" Company, to which my daughter Lucía belongs, would not be able to participate.

However, we were finally able to gather in the Plaza Vieja (which isn't a plaza) on Friday afternoon for the Spanish Music and Dance Gala as part of these festivities.

There are many Spanish societies on the island. According to the National President of these societies, 11 of the 17 Autonomous Communities of the Kingdom of Spain were represented in Cuba, with more than 30 schools defending their traditions, culture, music, dance…

I want to share some images that represent what we enjoyed at my second weekly miracle. I chose these more for the visual representation of the different colors and groups than for the music they performed.

The school bus (which cost 465 pesos per seat) dropped us off at Plaza San Francisco de Asís. All it took was the lead dancer shouting, "Pigeon Square!" for the crowd to start running.

I don't know about you, but my little girl seems to me the most beautiful of all. Hehe.

Back at Plaza San Francisco de Asís, the bus is delayed for more than an hour, and we happily head home. You know what I mean? The satisfaction that comes from the success of the artistic project, along with the family tour of historical sites and the laughter we share in life; making fun of everything...
