True... but so what?

Sometimes, we get caught up in the moment.

Crypto magnifies this effect because money is involved, it can be measured, in purchasing power, or dollars.

Round tripping the bag often comes with a nice handful of shoulda woulda coulda's and a side of 20/20 hindsight

But I catch myself thinking about it now

Was that the gold and silver top for now?

I mean I really think gold and silver have no reason to really stop going up in price when measured with the dollar and other currencies

But why not, what if we slowly go downwards for 10 years?

Gold and silver aren't memecoins

They are very heavy markets that don't have to crash and pump forever

The volumes can drop off and we can very slowly go sideways with a downwards slope

With this in mind, why not offload and buy something I am way more bullish on

Some $leo $lstr $surge $ttsla $hive $eth $btc or my favourite coin on some other chain

I am almost 100% sure everything I named will outperform gold and silver but still, not only will I not convert my silver or gold, I might even get some more + some platinum on top of it

I used to think diversification was silly when you are certain, I KNEW bitcoin would go wild when bitcoin was $200 so why didn't I sell everything I owned and buy? Why didn't I say "sorry can't make it" when my buddy asked me to be his best man... sometimes, you can't go all in even if it's financially the right move. You should be able to live your life while also making sure if things go sour that you will be ok. While bitcoin seemed like it was destined to make a run, there was always a risk that all the governments of the world outlawed bitcoin by penalty of death and watch how quickly the miners, exchanges, and individuals sign off and disappear as if they were never there to begin with. That's the thing with crypto, where are your coins? they are not on your laptop or in your phone, they live on the blockchain, where is that? Which country does the blockchain live on? Things get tricky with nuance.

But gold and silver are simple, do you have them? do you know where you left them? then you are good. Its not like you can get the mail, open the wrong envelope, and suddenly your metals stack is drained lol
