Hello there all you zombies how has your week been? It's ok, I know no one will answer and that's quite ok; it doesn't diminish the time I spent writing this or any other aspect of my life in the least bit.
It's the weekend and even if I had a time machine I'd definitely not ask it to take me back to the week that was; I'd rather move ahead after what was an incredibly challenging week and into the weekend that promises to be quite spectacular.
Maybe that's overstating it just a little bit, it's unlikely to be my best weekend ever, but I'm taking my lovely lady to do a tree walk high in the canopy of the forest, a hike and lunch as well, and I think that's a Sunday to be excited about. I guess it's days and moments like this that we'll both look back on and possibly call our glory days, the times of our life in which we felt happy, connected, engaged and like we were living life the way it should be.
Last week can stay in the past. I had to live it, get through it, to get to where I am now and that's ok, bit I'll focus forward and onto what I know will be a really nice weekend rather than a week that wasn't as good as it could have been. All weekends are good, it just depends where on the scale the weekend happens to land. Hopefully you have been having a good weekend too.
It's wet and windy but it's my type of weather, so all good.
I don't mind wet but I'm not into the wind to be honest; although it's nice sometimes, an excuse to stay in and do indoor things.
