A Sunday Walk

Hello, pals! We're almost at the end of August. Few more months and we'll be on Christmas holidays.

I want to share with you how I spent my Sunday. Well, since my parents have to leave this week, we tried to have a great weekend.

On Sunday morning, we woke up early. We'd planned to spend the day in the park, observing nature, walking around and taking some photos of course.

We invited our little cousin to go with us, and around 10 a.m., we headed to the subway. It was a trip of 45 minutes, but it was smooth and nice.

I had never been in that particular park, but I had heard about it. The moment we stepped into it, we could see how huge it was.

When we arrived, the park was full of people doing a lot of activities; I saw people doing dance therapy, yoga, karate, playing soccer, picnics, and more.

However, our great surprise was to find out that there was also a zoo in the park. My little cousin was so excited and asked me to take photos to share with her later. Here, I'm going to share some of them with you.

In this park, we had the opportunity to see many animals such as eagles, parrots, monkeys, ducks, iguanas, birds, and even a jaguar, a crowned crane, and lake otters.

Oh, there were also alligators, lots of trees and something I really liked, a spot where you can leave, take, or exchange books. A nice initiative if you ask me.

There was a historical ship but we couldn't explore it because we had to pay and we didn't have enough money.

And well, this was our experience in Parque Miranda. It was such a nice and sunny day. A place I want to visit again for sure.

By the way, the photos were taken with my mom's phone.

Thanks for reading.
