The best wedding that I have attended happened to be my colleague sisters wedding where I was on the bridal train for her.
So I started working with the whistler on the January 25th of the year 2025. That is where I met my colleague eucharia so a little briefing about eucharia, she is actually a very pretty young lady she fair and chubby and she has nice body shape so I love her a lot because she is outgoing she has a lot of love to give out, she's calm ,she's kind and she's generous.
So working with her has been a pleasure it's been so good although she has relocated to Abuja after the wedding ,so the wedding was scheduled to hold on July 7th and we had to travel a week to the wedding because of the bridal train but due to work on the other some circumstances beyond our control we traveled on a Friday and the wedding is supposed to be on a Sunday.
On that Friday we were supposed to leave early in the morning so eucharia mentioned that she wanted to make her nails and when I got to her place we set off to the nail tech .So she wanted to do acrylic nails and it happened that they were two people before her so the two people took a lot of time before it got to our turn and they ended around 3:00 p.m so hers finished by 6pm.
Then he started off with has he had a lot of designs it was pink with rainbow color a little bit of the color of the sky and some stars. So the guy started work on her ,first of all his acrylic powder wasn't working it was breaking and she felt so bad I kept on encouraging her and all that so finally he was able to finish up the nails and before we could finish it was around 6:00 p.m.
And we still had to travel that night ,like we didn't have a choice so we got to the house and picked up the things that we already packed chartered a tricycle and he took us to the park it was so hard to find bus that's night but finally we did and we got to ABA around 9:10 so when we got to the house everybody welcomed us so well I mean that's my first time there so her family was so nice and they welcomed me with open arms.
So you eukaria's mom made fresh okoro soup with fresh fish as if she knew that we we needed that, oh God will literally devoured the food after that we showered and we hanged out just outside the house under a mango tree where we talked the bride was also there and one her other sisters and brothers too, so we all got talking and familiarised.
So the next day was a day to the wedding and there was a lot of washing of plates to do I did most of the washing of the place and the pots and they arrangement .But the bride had not made her nails so as a hairstylist I made her hair for her and she loved it.
So that evening the catering people came and they started cooking and they did their cooking till morning we got to taste some of the food and all that so that early morning some of the ladies on the bridal train came to the house because the wedding was holding in their village we had to depart from the house in the morning.
So we all woke up early took our bath had something to eat and left the house as early as possible. You all know how African time can be and we got to the village around 12:00 and the lady to do the bridal makeup came around 2 pm, now I was very late and while she was doing the makeup it's began to rain and it rained till 4 pm the bridal train didn't even have time to do their makeup we all got dressed up for our first entrance which was in our cultural attire which was just the pair of white polo and wrapper.
So something so unexpected happened the sister to the bride was supposed to make her hair and she wasn't able to meet up so when they called us out. she told me bethel please help me and do my hair anyhow you can I had to make up gel for her right there and guys it turned out so beautiful so we went out for our first entrance we danced and it was good and the bride she was happy and then we came back for the second entrance.
And it was at this point that my day almost got ruined I lost my phone so I came into the dressing room and started dressing my colleague because she had a corset gown to wear and it is not something you can do by yourself so I helped her after helping her I decided to start my own dressing and that was when I found out my phone was missing .
I asked everybody they said they did not see my phone and I didn't know somebody already took my phone and fight to take pictures like why would it take somebody else finally my colleagues so the phone with the person and asked person and she said she just took the phone.
So that was how I got my phone back and we went out for our last entrance and after that we came back to serve food and so many other things that followed dance dance dance dance dance dance later.
So after that we have to return to ABA that night and by the time we got the bus that will take us back and we sat down there was so suffocating finally we got to ABA and the next morning I left to my house in general this was the best wedding that I've attended for the people that I met there and am wishing the bride a happy married life.
So far so good this has been the best wedding that I have attended in a long while and participating in the bridal train was so nice I remember all the moments the dance we practice the moment that we didn't get it and we laughed over and over ,it was fun indeed.
It's a petty I don't have pictures from to the because my phone got faulty and I had to flash it.
