Hello friends, thank you for being here on Day 15. It has been 15 days of drawing, trying to learn and improve along the way. During these 15 days, I have tried to draw with awareness. For today, I had several things to do. Since I didn't want to waste too many sheets, I started by dividing my page into several sections: one section for making lines and warming up my wrist, another for shading some basic figures. Then, I wanted to do two complete drawings—one of a crow with a red fruit, which I drew by copying a reference from Pinterest, and next to it, a girl with short hair against a blue background. The last two sections were for a still life of objects and another for an attempt (which didn't turn out well) at a hatched sphere.
The next page was for the Day 2 challenge with the theme: Sweets. I drew: a cinnamon roll, a hard candy, a cupcake with a cherry and syrup, a pie, a croissant, a gelatin, and a tomato. Why a tomato? Just because. The following page was a copy of some drawings from the Loomis book I'm studying, along with some sphere movement exercises. And that’s where today’s practice ends. It was one of those sessions where I felt like I did a bit of everything, especially given the small format of all the drawings and exercises. Thank you for making it this far, friends. See you next time. Bye!
¡Chau!
