We are thrilled to give you an update on our 22nd Borehole Project which is progressing well and we will be closing it out soon. There have been many hours of work involved in it and we are happy to report that we are moving into the final stages of the work. We have finished our first phase, drilling and mechanization, which is a very significant part of the entire project. Drilling and mechanization is the most (important) - and time consuming piece of the entire project.

It is the backbone of everything else, which is why we spend a fair amount of time getting it done as correctly as possible. If drilling or mechanization is done improperly, it can affect the entire system, and often requires restarting the project altogether. In our case fortunately, this is now done and we have done it without issue and have not violated any standards of process, safety, etc.

We are currently finishing phase two construction - constructing all of the structures around the borehole that will help give the facilty a great shape. This phase was about building the tower that holds the water tank, the wall for the tap, and the laying of the tiles around the entire unit. This is very important construction, as it is going assist us in keeping the unit hygienic, and able to be used every day as the point of access to water.

Now that we have done the majority of the work, we have entered the final phase, the launch of the project! The launch will be on Wednesday, May 28th and if all goes to plan, it is so much more than simply a launch, it will be a time of celebration. It will be an opportunity for us to share about Hive with the community with others, showcase anout the impacts of Hive with Ghanaians across the country.

The people of Agona Jamasi are very excited. It is inspiring to see so much enthusiasm, and a great reminder of why we do what we do to change lives through access to clean and reliable water. We can't wait to turn over this borehole to the community and see the positive effects it has in their lives.

We are very grateful to everyone who has been apart of this journey - with all your support towards the making of this impact in terms of the borehole. We are excited to share more updates later after we launch. Together we are changing lives.
