Above the clouds and beneath the sun.

Sitting at the window seat, thousands of feet in the air, I was completely short of words. Watching the clouds move slowly and gracefully below me felt like drifting through a painting—soft, white formations dancing quietly below me with the sun bathing them in warmth. The beauty in the skies above is astonishing, and those kinds of views cannot be done justice with photographs. You have to see it to really feel it.

There is something incredibly humbling about flying. In one moment you are on the ground surrounded by buildings and roads, and the next you are above the clouds, quietly looking down at a world detached from reality. From that high up, nothing else mattered. It was just me, the sky and nature in its purest form. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it.

The way the sun broke through the clouds was breathtaking, glowing and ethereal. It was enough for me to pause and simply observe everything. The beauty and work of the Creator stretched as far as my eyes could see. I was reminded of the limitless potential the world has—and how wondrous it can be when we pause and look closely.

In that moment, I fell back in love with nature. The sky wasn’t just the background anymore; it was the story. My living, breathing canvas telling of peace, grace and quiet majesty.

It was a healthy reminder that sometimes we need to rise above the noise in life to really see what is around us. The skies have their own way of healing, teaching and inspiring. And I truly experienced it each time on a flight.
