Yesterday, our delegation had the chance to tour around the city before the big event.
We agreed to meet at a mall (Sambil--La Candelaria) and from there we would be transported to Cerro el Ávila!
My dad called me and told me he could come see me before I left for the tour and that made my day!
We had not seen each other since my last visit to Caracas (about 8 months ago).
They could not stay too long because they had a friend to visit at a hospital (my godmother, actually, who was having a cardiac catheterization). We agreed to meet today afternoon for the opening of the SIMUN.
After my dad left we walked around the mall until it was time to go to Galipán.
The ride was a bit claustrophobic, as you can see, but it was fun.
We arrived at the spot after about a 30-minute drive and up to that point it was not so cold.
The view was amazing!
Later, we had to put on our sweaters.
There was so much we wanted to do! We were promised to taste wine, chocolate and ride quad bikes (ATV).
I was so scared at riding these bikes, but thank God nothing happens. The people from the tour were around us all the time to prevent any accidentes.
My phone died after this and I could not take pictures of the wine and chocolate tasting (I owe you those).
We came back to Caracas at about 5:30. It was late for a talento show they had organized at the school, so we started at the mall and had dinner.
What a nice walk, I loved the view of Caracas from above 😍
