Remembering the Fun Factory days..

Good Morning hive fam, My second, but favorite JOB (well, at least in my teens) was when I was a cashier / game repair guy at the local arcade. I worked in several different locations.. my favorite one was when I had the keys to the arcade and it was just me working during the days. I remember I could simply give the kids free credits in exchange for them doing the chores that I didn't wanna do.. like cleaning all the games, or vacuuming the carpet floor. ☺️😉🤙 and there was this one time when I got a call from some security co. or maybe it was the police! anyway, what happened is it turns out there was a silent alarm.. a little button below where the cash drawer was, inside the small cuby there, which is fine.. except I had never been told of its existence! one of the little stinkers who would there each day had pressed the button without me knowing it. 😜😄😗

I used to be this guy, mostly all I would do is to make change and exchange tickets for prizes.

One thing I recall doing that wasn't too bad, but it wasn't fun either, is when we had to do inventory. We would count and log every little thing there was..

This location is pretty big. Here are my 2 kids wandering around trying to decide what game to play first.

I remember when I worked at the biggest location near my house. It had the huge ride, sorta like a merry-go-round, but no horses.. I think it was cars? and the parents of the kiddies who rode it, would usually tip me a buck or two since I had to stand there are operate it. :)
