Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great! Last weekend, I had the chance to attend the Night of the explorers, a fascinating event held at many locations throughout Europe and among other cities, in Belgrade. This event made my day very special and that's why I want to share it with you.

We visited two locations, the Museum of Science and Technology and the European house.

My kids were very excited and couldn't wait for us to arrive. First we came to the Museum of Science and Technology.

The evening was filled with hands-on experiences, fun experiments, and plenty of opportunities to learn through play.

At the Museum of Science and Technology, the children's workshops were a real highlight. My kids were fully engaged in activities that combined learning and creativity.

First, they got to know the interior and items of old houses, and then they wrote on pieces of paper questions that they would ask those who lived in those houses. After that, my son joined the children who were making objects from those old houses.

And my daughter was a painter and enjoyed painting at a stand called modern Nadezda after the famous painter Nadezda Petrovic.

After the creative workshops, we went down to the children's section with a permanent display where children can participate in various scientific experiments and games.

One of the most popular stations allowed them to discover how much they would weigh on different planets, which sparked lots of curiosity and laughter.

The museum's permanent exhibition, which I had visited before, offered a wonderful mix of history and science, including a display of old toys that reminded us of simpler times.

Walking through the exhibits again, I appreciated the way science and history were intertwined, making learning enjoyable for visitors of all ages.

There were workshops outside where children could even be forensic scientists.

After visiting the museum, we walked to the European house. I always like to walk the streets of the center of Belgrade in the evening hours.

In European house technology and experiments took center stage.

One station featured a robot demonstration, which fascinated both children and adults.

My kids were delighted. They listened carefully to all the stories of the experts about science.

But they were especially interested in the front where they participated in an experiment that allowed participants to test how sour their lemonade was, and the kids even got hands-on experience making lemonade themselves.

It was amazing to see their excitement as they measured ingredients, squeezed lemons, and learned about acidity in a fun, interactive way.

Overall, the Night of the explorers was a perfect blend of education and entertainment. It was inspiring to see children and families alike fully immersed in exploration, discovering the wonders of science and technology. As soon as we got home, my kids were interested in creative activities. They even asked me to buy lemons to make lemonade. And what is most important, they drank it. 😊
