The masquerade ball was at full blast. Participants are glamorously dressed with elaborate masks on their faces to conceal their identity, the orchestra playing in the background and guests dancing gracefully to its chanting melodies. A symphony of violins and pianos reverberated through the air, the dancers swayed elegantly behind the mask, their eyes sparked with excitement.

Larissa stood on the fringes wishing she could blend into the shadows. A masked man named Dante emerges from The shadows elegantly dressed, Dante wears a mask that carries an aura of enigmatic tales.

The pattern of the mask is designed using shades of dark blue conveying a sense of mystery. Behind this veiled mystery, Dante's eyes glimmered like a polished onyx that seems to hold secrets. His mask adorned with delicate lace and feathers seemed to carry an irresistible sense of ancient mysteries, and his body exuded an aura of confidence as he walked up to Larissa.

In the soft tendrils of music that wove through the air, he extends his hand to initiate a dance. The scent of roses from his masked lapel watterd, leaving a subtle fragrance of his cologne.

"May I have this dance?" he whispers with a voice as deep as the ocean but smooth as silk.

Larissa looked at Dante, his request sent a strong sensation down her spine tempting her to surrender to his enchantment, of course, she couldn't resist she gave in to his dance offer.

"Yes, you may! The orchestra gave enchanting melodies as Larissa danced gracefully. She made sure that she was careful so as not to make a fool of herself.

The air was alive, the short note of music went on as Larissa twirled and swayed, lost in the rhythm of the melodies. A thought tiptoed into her mind she wondered to herself "Who is behind this mask" She gave a glance at everyone in the ballroom, the flickering candle lights casting a shadow on the masked faces around her, chills as the water breeze sent shivers down her spine leaving trails of goosebumps on her skin. She looked at Dante who was lost in the rhythm of the music, suddenly the silence between them was broken,

"You dance with so much grace

Have you been practicing? Dante was staring at Larissa behind the mask.

"Well, I've taken a few dance classes. What about you? Larissa asked with a glimpse of curiosity.

"I have been dancing for as long as I can remember." Larissa was immersed in the soothing tingling sensation of the stranger's deep voice, unexpectedly Dante pulled Larissa to himself, he could hear her heartbeat like the voice of many waters, he leaned on her, his breath caressing her earlobe as he uttered, Would you like to have a mask spa treatment down the street?"

Larissa found herself unable to resist the stranger's request; she nodded in excitement; she was eager to explore the unknown with the mysterious man.

Dante's hand intertwined with Larissa's with a gentle firm grip, and she could feel her heart pounding. He led her out of the ballroom across the street guiding her towards the mysterious mask spa treatment. Inside the spa, the air was infused with a subtle aroma of lavender and sandalwood. The scent of incense and burning candles filled the room creating a mysterious atmosphere.

The spa attendants approached Larissa, their faces covered with elaborate masks representing different ancient spirits and creatures. In a corner of the room, the faint glow of phosphorescent crystals illuminated the bubbling brew, casting an otherworldly glow on the masked faces nearby.

The treatment began with a ritualistic cleansing performed on Larissa by the spa attendants. Dante is standing in a corner of the room staring at Larissa from a distance, throughout the spa, whispers of forgotten spells and mysterious chants hang in the air, adding to the sense of enchantment. Soft, haunting melodies floated from unseen instruments, creating a soundtrack for the night's mystical transformations.

After the spa treatments were over, Larissa was so curious about the mysterious stranger behind the mask, she thought to herself

To quench her curiosity she asked the stranger, "I'm so curious that I can't breathe in the next five minutes, I want to know the face behind the mask."

"Why is he so kind? I don't even know his name."
For the first time, Dante felt as though, he had been asked the most difficult thing to do.

He took Larissa by the hand and whispered; "This face is better hidden behind these masks." His words were so charming, Larissa this time decided to resist his words, she insisted on seeing his face.

Dante paused for a while, his heart echoed the pulsating rhythm of drums, his palms felt sick, and he was sweating behind the mask. If Larissa could see his face, she would have seen nervousness written all over his face. A lot of things were going on in his mind, Dante stared at Larissa who was looking at him closely, filled with curiosity, he thought to himself, "What if she chose to escape, slipping away like a phantom into the night?" The thought of that made Dante hesitant, he later summoned up courage and asked Larissa to unveil the mask herself.

Larissa looked at the stranger, and took a deep breath, her heart racing, she lifted the lace, and fabric and gasped, her eyes widened in disbelief, and time froze.

"No, it can't be" she echoed in disbelief, the air around her seemed to tighten their seatbelt, she ran from Dante's presence, and as she ran her heart pounded in her chest.
