The role of parent and society in a child life.

I always tell people that if you're not capable of training a child, don't bring one into the world. What's this new trend of 17- or 18-year-olds living alone, not even in school? Children who should still be under their parents'care are now living independently and sending money home. I've seen it in my neighborhood – a 200-level student, not working, but always busy pressing their phone with his colleagues, I don't know if they had a business on phone maybe legally or illegally. But one thing I noticed is that their mother always calls them to send money. Some parents have turned it into their children's responsibility to cater for themselves at a young age.

I believe that if you're not financially stable, don't bring a child into this world. It's a parent's responsibility to train and educate their child. Not everyone succeed with education, but we all know how important education is. The highest percentage of thugs are uneducated, and the highest percentage of people who give birth out of wedlock are also uneducated. A child that would become a leader of tomorrow must be educated and the parent are responsible for his or her education at least to higher institutions.

A child who will become a good leader tomorrow should be corrected and punished where necessary, not pampered all the time. A child who's not corrected will grow up to be something else. I'm not supporting child abuse, but some parents should stop fighting teachers just because they corrected their child in school.

Moreover, even after education, some graduates face unemployment and may turn to other means to survive, which can lead them down a path of regret. Parents with financial means can help their children by starting a business for them, providing an alternative to idleness and peer pressure. The society can also contribute by offering free entrepreneurship skills training, enabling graduates to start their own businesses and become independent.

The environment we train a child in also matters. Some environments are not good for a child to grow up in, and no matter how well we train them, a bad environment will influence them. Teaching a child to be compassionate and kind will help them understand that bullying is wrong. Instead of bullying, they'll treat others with kindness. When that kind of child grows up, they'll be a compassionate leader or person.

However, the society can also play a role in helping to train up children by providing support systems, such as free education for parents who are not capable. This can help prevent children from becoming wanderers due to lack of sponsorship.

From my experience serving in a volunteer group that taught secondary school students and higher institution students about the dangers of drug abuse, I've seen firsthand the devastating impact it can have on a child's life and the society as a whole. Drug abuse is a serious issue that requires a collective effort to address. The society has a responsibility to report those selling hard drugs to the authorities and to educate children caught in the act about the dangers of drug abuse.

As a parent, it's crucial to monitor your child's activities, including the company they keep. The friends they associate with can have a significant influence on their behavior. Regularly checking their phone and being aware of the kind of movies and content they consume can also help prevent them from falling prey to negative influences.

In today's digital age, phones can be both a blessing and a curse. While they provide access to valuable information, they can also expose children to harmful content. As parents, it's essential to strike a balance between giving your child independence and protecting them from harm.

By working together, parents, society, and authorities can help prevent drug abuse and its associated problems. We can create a safer environment for our children to grow and thrive. Let's take our responsibility seriously and ensure our children receive the guidance and support they need to make informed choices.

I agree with you totally when you said "don't bring a child to the world if you're not ready to take care of that child but instead want to exploit that child

The parent and teachers equally has a role to play also as the parents are the first teachers in a child's life before anyone else

Very true

Some parents are the problems we have in the society today. Where do they expect an 18 year old student to get money to rent an apartment and also send home?

A reasonable parent will question that and not partake in it no matter the temptations but most parents today are even celebrating their children for it.

If such becomes the president tomorrow and begins to embezzle money, we will be shifting blames to the devil.

The problem start from home
