Use of Multifunctional Items in Modern Minimalist Design

One of the crowded areas is near campus. Especially in this modern era, there are many cafes with unique designs that we may have never seen in the area where we live.

My original area is only a small village so I don't see modern design in my area. My work world takes me to see more places that are different from where I live.

I stopped at a cafe near campus tonight. I saw KOAT COFFEE which I read clearly with a glass wall background.

The design in this cafe clearly carries modernity. A building with a high roof.

The dominance of glass use I see clearly from the parking area. Meanwhile, the parking area is also very large because this is a student area so of course there are many visitors.

From the front of the cafe, the cleanliness of the cafe is well maintained. There are many trees but dry leaves are quickly cleaned.

Modern minimalist design is often intended for many multifunctional things. Like building walls that use more glass material.

In this glass material, I see an aesthetic advantage that applies here, especially at night. To reflect good light.

During the day it would be good for a natural light source to each side of the building which is good for saving electricity costs because electricity costs are expensive. Good things to combine functional elements in my opinion with aesthetic elements.

I walked into the area inside the cafe which turned out to be very spacious. In this main area building it is used for indoor.
The ceiling is very high so it won't be hot especially during the day.

The colors white, also brown are used I see it as to maintain the minimalist aspect.

With chairs a combination of iron material and soft foam for the seat. Meanwhile, the tables use a combination of iron and wood materials.

Not only that but I also walked to the back area which turned out to be an outdoor area. Functioned for visitors who want to smoke or want to get more air from outside.

I see a lot of multifunctional furniture here. Like the use of a seating area made of cement forming stairs on a stage area. This is used for seating and tables are added to add value to the seating area.

Then I saw the seating area was given detailed lights hidden in between each side of the cement to create nice details.

In another area, iron chairs and tables were added. Arranged on the ground covered with small gravel.

Small gravel will prevent weeds from growing on the ground which I think actually saves on ground maintenance costs. It also adds a neat aesthetic impression with the gravel.

In the rearmost area there is a building that is exactly the same as the main building, but made in levels. The area here is quite hot so the function of the lower part is to protect visitors from the sunlight above.

While in the upper part not too many seats were added. It seems to enlarge the cool concept. but that's not bad in my opinion either.

Green plants were added so that this place feels cool but plants were chosen that still look neat.

The later I saw the more crowded the visitors but most of them in my opinion were students who were busy working on their college assignments with laptops.

This place could be an interesting place with an interesting design with a modern design but at the same time comfortable in my opinion.
