The flooded paddy fields with still water appear like a neat and clean mirror wherein the reflections of a cluster of trees nearby are eager to cast their reflections, and I happen to be a witness to such a beautiful sight; How could I not stop by such a beautiful sight!
I did not waste time capturing the promising reflections and/or forms, though ephemeral. The promise and dignity of these reflections are steadier than ever, as the wind did not blow to torment these reflections.
What a sight it could be to describe-- the real is juxtaposed with virtual; the upright is juxtaposed with inverted. The still water and the surroundings have produced such a symmetry that is being perpetually resolved into serene geometry. For a patient photographer and/or an artist, it's a merciful instance offered by Nature and circumstance.
Reflections exude deeper revelations of an object, and for that matter, the entire existence around us. The juxtaposition of the real and the reflected is the revelation of the comprehensive truth, which we need to explore using the lens of philosophy. What we know as truth is neither the real(visible or object) nor the reflected(ephemeral presence or image), instead, truth is beyond what we could see beyond our visible range, where the visible and the non-visible, where the real and imaginary, consent to meet.
The paddy fields have turned golden yellow in my locality as the harvesting season is on. This harvesting season will roll on to create remunerative economic activity for farmers. And I will continue to remain a vigilant witness to capture the beautiful and thought-provoking moments of Nature.
