Yet another shadow hunting contest and I'm glad I popped in. It's becoming much more easier to hunt for shadows and take a picture unlike before when I would simply stare and ogle at it, lol.
It had to be an obsession. That was what I told myself when I realised I've been more into flowers than usual. I found myself wondering why I never let a flower plant pass me by or rather, pass it by without halting to take a shot.
Exception of the times I happen to be in a moving vehicle which leaves me with no other option than to admire them through the glazing.
But actually, flowers pass across an irrefutable message to me and everyone else.
Even when the roots are dirty, they still bloom.
Which I interpret to mean that, even in the midst of life challenges, tumbles and stumbles, one's resilience and inner strength can lead to growth and success.
Furthermore, beauty is very much capable of arising from the ugliest situations.
So my love for flowers isn't just about its appealing and eye catchy appearance, the beautiful colour combination of each one. It's more focused on the fact that it stands tall and pretty despite emerging from dirt.
And this weekend turned out to be an outdoored one for me. Unexpectedly. I do love being outdoors and engaging in outdoor activities but I happen to love indoors more. Snuggled and cozied up.
It was quite nice stepping out for few hours though, at a scenic park where I got to admire some pretty flowers.
These sword lilies caught me eyes more than any other flower plants in the area. They were literally calling out to me which led to me hovering around their garden bed 🤭.
