
Tofu and tempeh are excellent sources of plant-based protein. We are highly recommended to consume plant-based protein in addition to animal protein. Some people don't consume animal protein, so you can make this menu a daily protein substitute.
Today, I chose a dish with fried tofu. Next, I'll make a delicious chili sauce that goes well with tofu. This was my husband's request; he wanted to enjoy tofu like this. Okay, I'll make it according to his request.

At first glance it looks like tahu gejrot, but this is not tahu gejrot, the chili sauce recipe is also different, where the difference lies in the palm sugar and sliced shallots, here I don't use palm sugar at all, the ingredients I use are quite simple, just sweet soy sauce, shallots, chilies and garlic which I blend finely then I add sweet soy sauce and lime juice.

Materials used

3 green chilies
4 bird's eye chilies
1 clove of garlic
1 clove of shallot
1 lime
1 sachet of sweet soy sauce

Manufacturing procedure
First of all, I prepare the tofu first, I wash the tofu first, then I cut it into small squares, then I fry it until the tofu is yellow.

Next, I started preparing the spices. I peeled the onion skin, then I washed all the ingredients thoroughly, and fried them until they were wilted with a little cooking oil, Next, I grind the spices with a mortar and pestle, until the spices are slightly coarse.

Next, I added sweet soy sauce, salty soy sauce and lime juice, then I stirred it until it was evenly mixed. Then I added the fried tofu. I pressed it a little so that the spices could be absorbed.

RESULTS

After the spices have been absorbed into the fried tofu, I then serve it and this is the result, it's delicious, isn't it? With the lime juice, this soy sauce seasoning is very fresh and immediately makes me want to taste it.

After enjoying it, it tastes really delicious, the level of spiciness is just right, with a spicy, sour and sweet taste, making this dish very suitable to be enjoyed together, it can be used as a snack or a side dish with rice.
