I cook green and fresh chayote, I like the texture of this vegetable which is soft and easy to soften, when my mother went to my relative's wedding in Takengon, my mother brought this vegetable home for me, so I thought about processing it like this dish.
ingredients:
🔹3 shallots.
🔹2 garlic.
🔹3 red chilies.
🔹11 cayenne peppers.
🔹1 tomato.
How to make:
🔹Peel the chayote from top to bottom until clean, peel slowly and carefully.
🔹Cut the chayote into 2 parts, then cut into small pieces according to taste, here I cut it in a long shape.
🔹Wash the chayote that has been cut into long pieces until clean, then add 1 teaspoon of salt, stir well.
🔹Peel the shallots, garlic.
🔹Cut the tomatoes thinly, and chop the onions to fry in oil so that the vegetables are delicious.
🔹Put the prepared spices into a blender, then puree.
🔹Heat the cooking oil, add the chopped shallots and tomatoes, cook until the shallots and tomatoes are slightly wilted.
🔹Add the spices that have been ground, stir well.
🔹Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
🔹Add chayote, stir well.
🔹Add 200 grams of water, stir well.
🔹Cook Japanese pumpkin until cooked, turn off the stove, prepare and serve.
