The Roman Army destroyed Jerusalem under the command of General Titus along with the temple which was a House Of Prayer, because it was being used for different religions which were anti-Christ. How then could the House Of Prayer stand if there were other anti-Christ religions being practiced alongside God's.

There's another house that God teaches us in the Bible symbolic of the Church. I Timothy 3:15;

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Matthew 16:18;

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Jesus Christ was talking about a church which can't be destroyed by anyone or anything or any power. The spiritual house is the church of God which is meant to exist forever, the house is an entity that would exist forever.

Ephesians 3:10-11;

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

The church of God which the Lord Jesus Christ built in the first century of our era is an entity that is meant to exist forever and can never be destroyed again. The church of God is a house that prays.

Hebrews 3:6;

And having an high priest over the house of God.

Christ is a son over the house of God.

Hebrews 10:21;

We have a high priest over the house of God and Jesus is the high priest

Hebrews 3:1;

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.

So Christ as the Son over His House, with christians being the church and as a high priest, the house is the church itself. It is not a building made with material things like bricks.

The house of prayer was destroyed because it had become a den of thieves, but the Church of God can never be destroyed
