Addiction is a menace. It is an evil. It is an horror. Addiction is a killer. Addiction is destructive. Addiction impoverishes. Addiction is bad. It is everything that is not good. It is everything that is unproductive. It kills lives. It kills the national values. It kills the strength of the youths. Addiction is a monster. Let us arise together and fight this enemy. Let us turn our children from it. Let us show our youths the way of life. Let us drum the alarm into the ears of our children that they should turn away from addiction.
The problem of addiction is not something that we have no power over. By that I mean that we are not forced into addiction. We willingly submit ourselves to get addicted. Addiction is the product of allowing our flesh to gain control over us. When we allow our body to dictate to us what we should do, we will be addicted to some of those evil tendencies. The body likes pleasure. It is the results of pleasure that is causing us to get addicted.
To overcome addiction, we must submit totally to God. You must agree to obey God in all things. When you start obeying God, you will not be addicted. Those things that people are doing because of addiction are contrary to the commandments of God. We must choose to honor God with our body. When we honour God we will keep ourselves from some of those activities that dishonors God in our bodies.
Say no to addiction. Give yourself in total submission to God in order to overcome drug addiction
