For the CCC's Street Art Contest #274 organized by @digi-me, I'm sharing the second main mural done during the last edition of Under Pressure this summer in the streets of downtown Montreal. The TIK Crew was on hand to create this special Joker mural.

Pour le CCC's Street Art Contest #274 organisé par @digi-me, je vous propose le deuxième mur principal réalisé pendant la dernière édition du Under Pressure cet été dans les rues du centre ville de Montréal. Le TIK Crew était en action pour réaliser ce mur spécial Joker.

This is really the main corner of this festival. On the left, you can see the largest wall created this year by Crazy Apes and K6A crew, see StreetArt #833.

C'est vraiment le coin de rue principal de ce festival. On peut apercevoir sur la gauche le plus grand mur réalisé cette année par Crazy Apes et K6A crew, voir StreetArt #833.

This wall is located in the "main square" of the Under Pressure festival. It's the parking lot behind Foufounes Electriques on De Boisbriand Street in Montreal.

Ce mur se trouve sur la "place principale" du festival Under Pressure. Il s'agit du parking derrière les Foufounes Electriques sur la rue De Boisbriand à Montréal.

In the foreground on the metal box is the CEK crew. I really like the filling of the letter E. For the past two years, this wall was the work of the Tontons Graffeurs aka LTG* 🔽

Au premier plan sur la boite en fer, on a le crew CEK. J'aime bien le remplissage de la lettre E. Les deux dernières années, ce mur était l'oeuvre des Tontons Graffeurs aka LTG 🔽

TIK Crew

The TIK crew was at work on this wall this year. Last year, they're on the same street de Boisbriand with a similar theme featuring a circus with a scary clown; see StreetArt #729. This time, it's a tribute to the Joker, brilliantly portrayed by Heath Ledger a few years ago. This portrait was created by Deps, an artist often featured with his hyper-realistic portraits at the Legal Wall de Rouen.

C'est le collectif TIK qui était à l'oeuvre sur ce mur cette année. L'année dernière, ils étaient dans la même rue de Boisbriand avec un thème similaire sur le cirque avec un clown effrayant, voir StreetArt #729. Cette fois il s'agit d'un hommage du Joker interprété magnifiquement par Heath Ledger, il y a quelques années. Ce portrait a été réalisé par Deps, artiste souvent présent avec ses portraits hyper réalistes au Mur Légal de Rouen.

Regarding the lettering, starting from the top with the Gothic letters, we have Beast aka Alejandro, an artist and tattoo artist. Just below it is Nor. The background with the gloomy mansion is also by Deps.

Au niveau des lettrages, si on commence du haut, avec les lettres gothiques, on a Beast aka Alejandro, artiste et tattoeur. Et juste en dessous, il s'agit de Nor. Le fond avec ce manoir lugubre est aussi de Deps.

In the lower section, it's Wyze and Devo. Below the Joker, the letters are Deso then Jebse. Bad luck with this lettering because on my first visit there was a cherry picker and on the second a car parked right in front of it 😤. Next time 🤞.

Dans la partie basse, il s'agit de Wyze et Devo. Sous le Joker, les lettres sont de Deso puis Jebse. Pas de chance avec ce lettrage car lors de mon premier passage il y avait une nacelle et au second une voiture garée juste devant 😤. Cela sera pour une prochaine fois.

I hesitated to choose this photo for the contest, but I preferred a version with less fencing. What do you think of this wall? Do you like it?
