The Hunt for the Lost Relic.

in Gaming Photography2 days ago

I decided to clear the camp using stealth, even though I was not sure it would work. One by one, the guards were taken down with blades, arrows, and silent strikes. After securing the area, I found the ceremonial pipe I came for. I returned with it, knowing peace comes at a heavy cost.

I was not sure if I could continue the stealth, but it was worth the shot. I used a Tomahawk to take down the officer who was relaxing in the tent. Luckily, no one else heard anything.

Two guards were chatting by the campfire, but one of them suddenly started walking around, which made it easy for me, so I threw a knife towards the guard who was sleeping, and he died in his sleep.

I threw another knife towards the one sitting by the campfire. The knife pierced through his skull, and he died without making a sound.

I went for this guard who left the campfire and started walking around. I planned to take him down with a melee fight, but we had a little distance, so I shot him with an arrow that went right inside his skull.

There was the last guard left who was guarding the other side, and he still didn't know all his colleagues were already gone, and he also didn't have much time left.

I'm not sure, but it looked like he was going deep inthe forest to pee. I followed him quietly, and when he stopped walking, I stabbed him with an arrow and took him down.

I looted all the guards first, and then I looked for the pipe, which I found in the camp. Arthur picked up everything that belonged to the ceremonial pipe.

Then I returned to Rain Falls and gave him the ceremonial pipe, which made him happy in all his sorrow. Rain Falls asked if anyone was hurt, and Arthur replied affirmatively.

Rain Falls believes having the ceremonial pipe back would stop a bigger massacre, as maybe he can calm his people.

Here I'm finishing the post for today, and I'll talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

"The screenshots are my take but properties of Red Dead Redemption 2."

It was sad but powerful when Arthur gave the ceremonial pipe back to Rain Falls. It showed respect and understanding, even when everything around them was full of pain.

Yeah, moments like this give depth to Arthur and the world around him. And I'm sad to see him dying day by day.

I loved the way you planned every move, stealth looks so satisfying here. That moment following the last guard into the forest sounds amazing and I shouldn't start praising about your screenshots, cause I may say too much, hahaha.

Haha, thanks. Planning each move made the stealth feel really tense and fun and I like it this way.

Your writing makes the stealth moments feel so alive, like I was sneaking right there with you. And, I didn't expect the forest pee moment to be so suspenseful. Haha, well done.

Those little touches can make stealth feel much more immersive, right?
