The contest themes of @gamingphoto helps us seeing things in a video game that we normally ignore.
I slowed down to observe details often ignored in battle. From quiet docks and abandoned boats to Wakou's Island and distant Mongol ships, I used photo mode and patience to capture moments of calm, tragedy, and beauty that felt truly wallpaper worthy.

I arrived at Azamo Bay and decided to get a better vantage point. I climbed to the top of one of the gate towers, looking out across the water toward a distant island. The air felt heavy with the history of the place, and from up there, I could truly appreciate the scale of the coastline I was about to explore.

I climbed down and ran toward the docks. From the edge of the wooden pier, the little island stood out clearly against the horizon. I noticed a lady standing nearby, seemingly lost in thought while enjoying the peaceful environment. It was one of those rare, quiet moments where the war felt far away.

On the shore, I spotted a fishing boat resting in the sand. I love the aesthetic of these old vessels, so I opened photo mode to capture it.

I decided to get a bit creative; I tweaked the settings and added a stamp in such a specific way that it almost looked like a character standing there, though it was just a clever use of the editing tools.

I rode out to the tiny landmass known as Wakou's Island. The atmosphere shifted instantly when I found two dead bodies near a Pillar of Honor. Despite the tragedy, the scene had a haunting beauty.
I spent quite a bit of time in photo mode here, adjusting the colors and the atmosphere to highlight the contrast between the honor of the pillar and the grim reality of the fallen men.

As I continued riding my horse, I stopped atop a large rock to admire the cloudy sky. I was hoping to time a shot perfectly with a lightning strike, but the storm was being stubborn.

My peaceful wandering was interrupted when I stumbled upon a group of Mongols harassing a bandit in the brush. I didn't hesitate to engage. I focused my strength on the large brute and took him down with a heavy strike, causing the remaining spearman to lose his nerve and flee into the forest.

While checking the area after the battle, I came across a gruesome sight: bodies tied to a tree log. One of the men still had an arrow buried deep in his chest. It was a brutal image that served as a harsh reminder of the Mongol occupation and the price the local people are paying.

Suddenly, the weather changed and the sky cleared up beautifully. The visibility was perfect, allowing me to see Wakou's Island and the massive Mongol ships anchored far out at sea.
I took a moment to play my flute, letting the melody drift out over the water as the sun began to peak through.

Driven by curiosity, I decided to head back to Wakou's Island one more time. I wanted to get as close as possible to the edge of the land to get a better look at those warships.

I reached the furthest point of the island and stood at the very edge of the world. I began playing the flute again, and the moment felt truly magical.
I managed to capture this in a video, keeping the original environmental sounds and the haunting notes of the flute.
