Hi everyone!
This time I walked further along the coast north east of Grain Tower, to see a rare example of a complete set of 'Dragons Teeth'. Grain Tower is seen in the image below.
These are huge steel reinforced anti-tank defences mounted on concrete groins sunk into the coastline and were installed during World War 2 after it was deemed enemy forces could use the area as a landing point.
A smaller set is closer to the town, with added extras of huge right angled concrete pieces.
The location is grade listed and looked after by Historic England. The land closeby is foreshore and is fair game for take off and landing of drones.
The light was perfect but the wind was very strong- I risked losing the drone as I was unsure if I will ever return to the area, I took a chance to capture views from above.

Sometimes we have to risk it to get the shot. I wonder what archeologists will make of these dragon teeth in a 1000 years time?
