For the last 5 years or so, I have been part of an organisation that is dedicated to community service and every year, they recognise the work of the most committed members during the Rotary year (which runs from June of one year to July of the following calendar year), through different categories, the most important of which is an award called ‘Member of the Year’, which is the one I was given.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting it at all and had campaigned for someone else to win it hahaha! Receiving it made me quite sentimental, because if I am very honest with you, what I do with Rotary is selfless work that does not seek to gain anything, other than to feed my soul.
By the way, this is the second Rotary award I have received this year, so I must be doing something right ❤️🩹
Desde hace más o menos 5 años, formó parte de una organización que se dedica al servicio en las comunidades y todos los años, se reconoce la labor de la socios más comprometidos durante el año rotario (que va de junio de un año a julio del siguiente del año calendario), a través de diferentes categorías, siendo el más importante de ellos, un premio llamado "Socio del año", que fue el que me otorgaron.
Honestamente, no me lo esperaba para nada y había hecho campaña por otra persona para que lo ganara jajaja! Recibirlo me puso bastante sentimental, porque si les soy muy honesta porque lo que hago con Rotary es labor desinteresada que no busca ganar nada, más allá de alimentar mi alma.
Por cierto, es el segundo premio que recibo este año rotario, así que algo debo estar haciendo bien ❤️🩹
