Today is #TBT Thursday, so I want to share with you some pictures of a very nice trip I made several years ago to Merida, with my family. It was a trip full of beautiful landscapes and unforgettable moments. These photos are from the Juan Felix Sanchez Stone Chapel, which is located in San Rafael de Mucuchies. The chapel is built entirely with stones from the region, it is considered a very important work because it reflects the creativity and ingenuity of Juan Felix Sanchez, the artist who designed and built it with dedication. From the moment we got there we could see that it had great architectural beauty. When we arrived in Mérida, it was clear to us that visiting this chapel was a priority. We were soon on our way to San Rafael de Mucuchíes, and when we were finally in front of it, we were amazed. The view from there is spectacular, the mountains spread out in the distance, creating a magnificent landscape. I took advantage of the moment to take several pictures, not only of the chapel, but also of the surroundings, to keep a memory of this beautiful place. It was an experience full of beauty and tranquility. Merida always has magical corners that surprise you, and the Capilla de Piedra is one of them. Thanks for reading my post, see you next time!
