Después se enfermo mi mamá con una diarrea de varios días, que llego a descopensarla por completo, tuve que hidratarla en casa, con recomendaciones previas dadas por mis jefes, en esas condiciones no podía sacarla de casa, por lo que tuve que reprogramar la cita que había tomado con un gastroenterologo, mi mamá siempre ha sido una mujer muy fuerte y siempre cuidó de nosotras, ahora es nuestro turno velar por su salud, luego que estuvo estable, asistamos a dicha cita, mediante exámenes de laboratorio nos dimos cuenta que tiene una amibiasis muy severa hasta el punto que sus evacuaciones eran sangre, estos nos asustó bastante, mí mamá no podía sostenerse en pie, hubo que ayudarle para que no se cayera y buscar una silla de ruedas, hubo momento en que la doctora me miró y me preguntó que posibilidad tenía de hospitalizada, a lo que respondí aquí en la clínica ninguna... Entonces después de calmar y estabilzar a mi mamá en el consultorio, procedió a examinarla para chequear que no hubiese ningún sangrado, luego indico un fuerte tratamiento endovenoso en casa el cual cumplimos al pie de la letra, además de una serie de exámenes y traerla a un nuevo control para programar una videocolonoscopia.
Mi mamá se está recuperando y debe continuar con el tratamiento vial oral por una semana más, para poder realizarse el estudio.
