¡Saludos a todos! Cada 22 de mayo, el mundo cripto y blockchain se une en una celebración global que marcó un hito en la historia de la Web3. Por tercer año consecutivo, he tenido el honor de formar parte de la organización de este evento mundial, donde los entusiastas de la descentralización conmemoramos el primer intercambio exitoso de un producto adquirido con un activo cripto.

Este día representa mucho más que una simple fecha: es un símbolo de la evolución financiera y la adopción de criptomonedas en negocios de todos los sectores. Es por eso que tomamos esta celebración con total compromiso, demostrando que el uso de criptoactivos es una realidad tangible y accesible para todos. Por supuesto, esto incluye a Hive.

Greetings to all! Every May 22, the crypto and blockchain world comes together in a global celebration that marked a milestone in the history of Web3. For the third year in a row, I have been honored to be part of the organization of this global event, where we decentralization enthusiasts commemorate the first successful exchange of a product purchased with a crypto asset.

This day represents much more than just a date: it is a symbol of the financial evolution and adoption of cryptocurrencies in businesses across all sectors. That is why we take this celebration with full commitment, demonstrating that the use of cryptoassets is a tangible and accessible reality for everyone. Of course, this includes Hive.

Gracias al patrocinio de Pizza DAO y la exchange OKX, junto con el invaluable apoyo de Academia BTC UCAB y @herdaovzla, logramos reunir a los entusiastas de esta celebración en Zavoo NFT Club. Y, por supuesto, el protagonista indiscutible de la jornada, las pizzas, llegó a nuestras manos gracias a Pizzería 007.

Llegamos temprano a organizar todo, nos tocó improvisar algunas cosas porque el DJ no estaba disponible, así que tuvimos que aprender a encender una consola y a compartir el material visual en las pantallas de un club nocturno. Por fortuna, pudimos hacerlo antes de que empezaran a llegar las personas.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Pizza DAO and exchange OKX, along with the invaluable support of Academia BTC UCAB and @herdaovzla, we managed to gather the enthusiasts of this celebration at Zavoo NFT Club. And, of course, the undisputed protagonist of the day, the pizzas, came to our hands thanks to Pizzeria 007.

We arrived early to organize everything, we had to improvise some things because the DJ was not available, so we had to learn how to turn on a console and share the visual material on the screens of a nightclub. Fortunately, we were able to do it before people started arriving.

Aunque el llamado fue para que empezaran a llegar a las 6:00 pm, tuvimos que empezar una hora más tarde para que estuvieran la mayoría y disfrutaran a plenitud el evento. La programación empezó agradeciendo a todos los sponsors y organizadores, entre los que debo mencionar a Aníbal Garrido y Manuel Sánchez, quienes me ayudaron a que toda esta fiesta se llevara a cabo.

También me tomé un tiempo para hacer una presentación de una nueva comunidad: H.E.R. DAO Venezuela, en la que soy co-founder, y en la que brindaremos educación, innovación y desarrollo en Venezuela para mujeres.

Although the call was to start arriving at 6:00 pm, we had to start an hour later for most of them to be there and enjoy the event to the fullest. I also took some time to make a presentation of a new community: H.E.R. DAO Venezuela, in which I am co-founder, and in which we will provide education, development and innovation in Venezuela for women.

En segundo lugar, en nombre de OKX, hizo la presentación la representante de P2P para LATAM. Explicó un poco de que se trata y activó un concurso para que probaran el P2P. También hablé personalmente con ella para listar HIVE en esta exchange. Así que prepárense porque se viene nuevo listado.

Para animar la fiesta, se hizo un concurso con los asistentes, y para hacer sinergia y que todos tuvieran oportunidades de participar, se escogieron mediante una ruleta. ¡El concurso **Pizza o Nada!, se trataba de quién se comiera una pizza pequeña más rápido y escogeríamos tres lugares. Si no querían participar, podían declinar. Tuvimos participantes de Hive @crisch23, @universoperdido y @franchalad, y dos de ellos se fueron ganadores. To liven up the party, a contest was held with the attendees, and to make synergy and that everyone had a chance to participate, they were chosen through a roulette wheel. The contest **Pizza or Nothing! It was about who could eat a small pizza the fastest, and we would decide three places. If they didn't want to participate, they could decline. Se repartieron 15 pizzas para 50 personas, aproximadamente. Hubo diferentes toppings, incluyendo algunas vegetarianas. Todos quedaron satisfechos, y algunos, incluso, repitieron.

Logramos sacar esta fiesta en muy pocos días, porque 5 días antes de que se realizara la fiesta, me ubicaron para que llevara a cabo la de Valencia porque hubo una disonancia en la organización que no vale la pena repetir por acá. Por nuestra buena disposición, la Comunidad Valenciana ya ha realizado cuatro años esta celebración y confían en nosotros para poder sacar adelante estos eventos en muy corto tiempo. lo logramos, no sin algunos desafíos, pero nada que no estuviera a nuestro alcance.

We managed to pull off this party in very few days, because 5 days before the party was held, I was placed to carry out the Valencia party. There was a dissonance in the organization that is not worth repeating here. Because of our good disposition, the Valencian Community has already held this celebration four years ago, and they trust us to be able to carry out these events in a very short time. We did it, not without some challenges, but nothing that was not within our reach.

Al final, lo importante de todo esto es que la comunidad tenga este tipo de eventos para conectar y hacer mucho networking.
