An Uneventful Caturday

Well, there's not much remarkable that happened to our cats today. There isn't much sun either so most of the time they just lay down and snuggled close to each other. Perhaps the only thing that's out of the ordinary that happened today is that Heihei is now eating a lot more than usual. It seems he already adjusted to the cat food we bought for him, but unfortunately, he only liked it just when it was already running low. We thought he wouldn't like it, so we let the older cats eat some of it. But apparently, he seemed to like it now (sigh).

Today, Luna was in a bad mood, for usually, he let me take a good pic of him, but when I attempted to take a nice shot of him this afternoon, he just frowned at me. I tried to lighten up his mood, but to no avail, he just closed his eyes and looked away. I don't why he's in a bad mood—I mean, yesterday he even slept together with Heihei. I swear cats are just as unpredictable as humans, and when their mood works up, they're also hard to understand.

Also this morning Heihei, for the first time, sunk his claw on my foot. Out of shock, I immediately shoved him away. His claw scratched my little foot so badly that it bled for a while, but fortunately, it stopped after I washed and put some alcohol on it. I don't why he did that—I guess he got a little overexcited so he tried to play with me. I think he knew he went overboard because, for the rest of the day, he behaved and did nothing mischievous. When afternoon came, he just slept peacefully on my bed like nothing happened this morning—ahhhh I wish I had that kind of ability to easily forget my shortcomings.

As for other cats, Muning and Maning's growth became more evident to me. Maybe they already grew for the past weeks and it's just me who didn't notice it because I'm too busy with my other obligations—especially the ones that involved my schoolworks. The finals week was unforgiving to all of us, but we managed to make it through. Now that we're done with it, I can finally pay attention to other things I set aside and one of them is our cats. So hopefully I can now have more time with them during my school break—oh, it isn't summer vacation anymore because the rainy season is already on its way ahahahaha.
