Does the cat have to walk outside? It's really quite a complicated question to which I have an unambiguous answer. In urban conditions, it is probably better for the cat to stay in the apartment. Unless, of course, it was born on the street. But even in this case, finding a house for it will be the best solution.
IMG_9772.jpeg But what to do with cats living in a country house? I tried very hard, but they do their best to explore the neighbourhood! Especially when it comes to adopted cats that used to be free. They come home to eat and sleep, but otherwise they lead a very independent life.

But the kittens... kittens are a real disaster... My cats are sterilised and have all the necessary vaccinations, but not everyone does so. And in the spring the real problem begins. We find these unfortunate kittens from time to time. Most often they are already sick and then treatment begins.

All I can say is that we will not solve this problem until people become responsible. And the problem is not that there will be a lot of cats. After all, they are part of the ecosystem. The problem is that too many of them are sick and suffering because of human irresponsibility. Sterilisation is not cruelty. This is a method to prevent the endless suffering of unnecessary kittens.
