Hello beer lovers, I find it almost tragic that in the more than two and a half years that I have known #hive, I had not heard of this initiative until now, given that I believe beer is one of humanity's greatest inventions. I think it should be considered one of the wonders of the ancient world, and not just any wonder, but at least the second wonder, because the Parthenon, the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, the Olympian Zeus, and all those others no longer exist, while beer is still with us.
The thing is, my wife is asking me for some empty beer cans, and as I am always willing to “sacrifice” myself, I decided to make the effort and drink some beers to empty the cans. It so happens that yesterday I learned about this #BeerSaturday initiative, and I saw it as a sign from the universe that I should take advantage of both opportunities and try to get something out of them.
Light beer
There is a beer where I live that, although perhaps not the most popular, I personally enjoy very much. It is Carta Blanca, a light beer with a lot of flavor. It has 4.1% alcohol content and, in my opinion, is perfect for enjoying in the evenings after work. It also stands out here for its very affordable price, approximately $0.50 per 330 ml can.
This is a very foamy lager-type beer, and its characteristics allow you to enjoy several glasses without feeling drunk. For this reason, I always try to keep some in my fridge to combat stress 😅.

As I was saying, what I'm showing you today is proof of my sacrifice, the sacrifice I had to make to empty the containers my wife needed 😜. So one wasn't enough to reach the goal, and since I had another different beer, I decided to take advantage of it 😅.
In this case, it is Victoria beer, which is an amber Pilsener-type beer. Although it also has 4% alcohol content, its flavor is stronger and more bitter. This particular beer is a little more expensive (0.90-1.20 USD), and because of its strong flavor, I prefer to enjoy it less frequently. In general, one or two of this type is enough for me.

Hola Beer lovers, me parece una situación casi luctuosa que en los más de dos años y medio que conozco #hive hasta ahora no había sabido de esta iniciativa, siendo que creo que la cerveza es uno de las mejores invenciones de la humanidad. Creo que debería ser considerada como una de las maravillas del mundo antiguo y no una cualquiera, debería ser la segunda al menos, porque el Partenón, el Mausoleo de Halicarnasus, el Zeus Olímpico y todas esas ya no existen, mientras que la cerveza sigue con nosotros.
La cosa es que mi esposa me está pidiendo unas latas de cerveza vacías, y como siempre estoy dispuesto a "sacrificarme" decidí hacer el esfuerzo y tomarme unas cervezas para desocupar los envases. Coincide que ayer conocí de esta iniciativa del #BeerSaturday y me pareció una señal del universo que debía aprovechar ambas oportunidades y tratar de sacarle algún provecho.
Cerveza clara
Hay una cerveza acá donde vivo que, aunque quizás no es la más apreciada, yo personalmente la disfruto mucho. Es la Carta Blanca, es una cerveza ligera, pero con mucho sabor. Cuenta con 4.1% de alcohol y en mi criterio es perfecta para disfrutar en las tardes luego de la jornada de trabajo. Además, destaca acá por su precio que es muy asequible, aproximadamente $0.50 por unidad de 330 ml.
Esta es una cerveza tipo lager muy espumosa y que por sus características permite disfrutar varias por sesiones sin efecto de embriaguez. Por esta razón procuro mantener siempre alguna el mi nevera para luchar contra el estres 😅.

Como les decía, lo que les muestro hoy es la prueba de mi sacrificio, el sacrificio que tuve que hacer para desocupar los envases que mi esposa necesitaba 😜. Así que una no fue suficiente para cumplir la meta y como tenía otra cerveza diferente decidí aprovechar 😅.
En este caso se trata de cerveza Victoria, que es una cerveza ambar tipo Pilsener, que aunque también cuenta con 4% de contenido de alcohol, su sabor es más fuerte y amargo. Esta en particular es un poco más costosa (0.90-1.20 usd), pero por su sabor tan fuerte prefiero disfrutarla con menos frecuencia, en general una o dos de este tipo ya es suficiente para mi.
