The Preciousness of Valentine's Day
I could say that Valentine's Day was always a precious day for us. We always celebrated it as we expressed our love and affection to someone special to us. Some others jokingly say that it should be celebrated with your partner, hahaha, but many would totally disagree with this, as it is not limited only to anyone who is in a romantic relationship but can also be celebrated with family, friends, and anyone we love, especially to people we owe a lot in our lives. As the sweetest and most giving person, I always find Valentine's Day a giving day, saying "thank you" to people and making them happy and special on this day.
Back when I was the SSLG President of our school organization, I diligently organized and planned every event with the help of my co-officers to make it a memorable event.
During High School Day, which also fell on Valentine's Day, my co-officers and I planned and prepared so well to give some surprises and enjoyment for the students and teachers.
My co-officers and I planned to give some simple gifts for the teachers, but the SSLG fund and budget that was given to us was not sufficient for the presents we planned. So, I said that I would contribute as well, using my second earnings from blogging here in Hive and my salary from my part-time work. I decided to share my blessings with the teachers to thank them for their sacrifices for us as students and for introducing me in this platform, which is a significant part of my blogging journey here in Hive Community.
Simple Gifts for Teachers
We bought some chocolates and put them in small paper bags, making sure that all teachers from elementary and secondary received their small gifts. I included a small note with the name of each teacher.
They looked so happy, saying thank you from my team for the effort of giving gifts to all the teachers of Ilihan Integrated School. The gifts were not expensive, but they truly appreciated our effort as SSLG officers. They definitely deserved to be given anyway.
Fun Events for Students
The next day, it was time to give some enjoyment to the students. We held the most enjoyable fun event, with my co-officers and I designing different booths such as a disco booth, a marriage booth, a jail booth, a blind date booth, and many more. Some of my co-officers also selling some DIY flowers for the souvenir corner. Seeing their faces filled with happiness and enjoyment for the event made our efforts worthwhile. They expressed their happiness saying thank you for the effort we put into making the event a successful one.
Those memories of my efforts as SSLG President will be forever cherished, and I'm glad I was able to serve and make the whole school community happy.
Thank you for reading my blog post! Stay tuned for more of my upcoming blogs, dear BEEluvs. Any kind of support means a lot to me. Don't forget to always spread positivity and love. Take care, and God bless you all! 💕
Great job, officers! Your teachers surely appreciate all your efforts, and all the students enjoyed the event.
Thank you so much @cindee08 ! 😊 It was truly a team effort with my co-officers, and we're glad our hard work paid off. Seeing the happiness and appreciation from both the teachers and students made all worth it.🫶💕

You too @johntheroamer 😊
Wow, I still remember this moment 💗 it was pretty fun, thanks for sharing, if I were to rate this blog, it would be a solid 10/10 @daenerhys!
I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed it as much as others did. Moments like these are what make it all worthwhile @penflecto 😆
As a former SSG Officer, I relate to you when it comes to giving more than necessary for the org; at first, it might be because of obligation. Still, as time passed, you just looked at the results of your effort, and quite strangely, you were satisfied with the teachers and the students' smiles. Anyhow, that's still very generous of you! May you be blessed with double the amount of what you shared!💗
Thank you @lizhavesomefun 🫶 I know the hard work it takes. Besides supporting events, I also did feeding using my earnings here in blogging and fundraising during calamities with my co-officers and other school organizations. As an SSLG, I always loved helping others and giving back what God blessed me with.
Wow, this post make me remember my highschool days. During valentine's day, we will celebrate like this in our campus. We have the marriage Booth, kissing booth and the blind dating Booth. If we have a bet couple for the marriage Booth, then we will go to the leader and write their names and pay so that they will kidnap the said couple and put a blind fold and help them walk to the altar.
