Hi everyone, hello madlang ka-hives!
It’s me again, your Angel ! Today’s blog is going to be all about a sporty adventure, because I’m super excited to share what happened yesterday, are you ready ? Let’s begin !

1000012704.jpg

So yesterday was one of the most unforgettable days ever! It was our Education Week celebration, and as part of our Pathfit 4 subject (yup, we’re talking about fitness and physical activities), each section had to choose between basketball or volleyball to compete in . Our class, BEED 2-A, had to make a decision, and guess what? Half of our section chose volleyball, and the other half went for basketball .

1000012724.jpg

Of course, being me, I chose basketball! HAHAHA! I know, I know—I don’t even look like the sporty type, but trust me, I was feeling it !

1000012732.jpg

While waiting for the schedule, we were all chilling and chatting when suddenly—boom ! The announcement came in . We were the first team to play in the women’s basketball division . First game pa lang! Kaloka! Our opponents? BSIT 2nd Year . The nerves kicked in immediately . But hey, ready or not, let’s go !

1000012676.jpg

Before the game started, we warmed up with layups and free throws . Our “coach” (who’s actually just one of our classmates, LOL) assigned the first five—and guess who made it ? Me! Kinabahan ako sobra! My hands were cold, my heart was racing, but I reminded myself : just enjoy the moment .

1000012733.jpg

When the game started, ang saya talaga ! Though, to be honest, it was kind of funny kasi wala masyadong strict rules . Like, traveling ? Double dribble ? Let’s just say… wala masyado . 😂 Everyone was just playing their hearts out . It felt raw, energetic, and full of laughter and cheering .

1000012734.jpg

But here’s the best part—we won the game! The score ? 16–4 ! Can you believe it? Our teamwork, despite the chaos and the nerves, actually worked !

1000012735.jpg

After that, we rested a bit while waiting for the next match . And then—semi-finals ! We were still up, and this time, the competition was a bit more intense . Our opponents were stronger and more aggressive . There were a lot of funny moments too, like when one player literally grabbed the ball and sprinted all the way without dribbling, trying to make a shot . 😂 The crowd was laughing, cheering, and shouting at the same time . It was chaotic but in the best way .

1000012736.jpg

And guess what ? We won again ! That meant… championship na !

1000012705.jpg

The final match was against our fellow education students, BEED 2-B . It was a friendly rivalry, but still, we all wanted to win . Both teams played their hearts out . It was more organized this time, and you could really feel the pressure . Each shot mattered . Every pass had to count . Our classmates on the sidelines were shouting, clapping, and even dancing . The energy was crazy high !

1000012706.jpg

In the end, after all the sweat, shouts, and determination… we emerged as champions !

But wait, that’s not all .

1000012707.jpg

While we were busy in the basketball court, the other half of our class was battling it out in volleyball . And when we finally regrouped and exchanged stories—guess what ? They won the championship too! Can you believe it? Both teams from BEED 2-A—basketball and volleyball—brought home the trophies ! 🎉🏆

1000012708.jpg

The atmosphere after all the games was filled with celebration, laughter, and lots of group pictures (of course, dapat may proof!) . We hugged, screamed, and took dozens of photos to capture the moment . We were all sweaty, tired, and maybe even a bit sunburned, but none of that mattered . The happiness was overflowing .

1000012698.jpg

It wasn’t just about winning the games . It was about the bond we built as a team, the confidence we gained, and the memories we created . I saw classmates who usually kept to themselves suddenly shouting cheers, high-fiving each other, and even giving pep talks . It felt like we weren’t just classmates anymore—we were a real team .

1000012703.jpg

And for me personally, this whole experience was something I’ll treasure forever . I never expected to enjoy basketball this much, let alone play in the first five and help lead our team to victory . It reminded me that sometimes, when you step out of your comfort zone, you discover strengths you didn’t even know you had .

So that’s it for today’s sporty blog, madlang ka-hives !
We came. We played. We conquered . 💪🏼
