Me Being A Writer Begins Here: A Glimpse into My Life and Passions

Hello everyone! Hello Hivers! Get to know me here in this introductory post of mine! My name is Dee, and I’m so happy to finally share a little part of my life here. I’m 26 years old and currently living in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy back in 2019.

It feels like time has flown by so fast since then. Life after college has been a mix of learning, exploring, and finding what truly makes me happy. One thing I’ve realized over the years is how much I value time with family and how much joy I get from discovering new places and experiences.

I’ve always been a family oriented person. My family means so much to me, and no matter where I go or how busy life gets, they remain my biggest source of strength and comfort. I love spending time with them whether it’s eating together, sharing stories, or just laughing over small things.

Family moments are the ones I always keep close to my heart. They remind me of how blessed I am to have people who truly care for me and support me in everything I do.

Aside from family, one of my greatest loves is traveling. I really enjoy exploring different places and learning about their culture, food, and people. Traveling gives me a sense of freedom it’s like stepping into a new world every time I visit somewhere new.

One of my most memorable trips was to Korea. It was such a beautiful country with amazing food, friendly people, and stunning sceneries. Walking along the streets filled with lights, tasting authentic Korean dishes, and visiting famous spots were unforgettable experiences. Traveling gives me happiness and helps me see how big and colorful the world is.

Whenever I travel, I always carry my digicam with me. It has become my little travel buddy! I love taking pictures of everything that catches my eye from sceneries, foods, and people, to small and random things that make each place special.

For me, photos are more than just pictures; they are memories frozen in time. Every click of my camera reminds me of a feeling, a sound, or a story that I can always look back on. I think that’s what makes photography special it lets you relive those moments again and again.

In my digicam, you’ll find lots of different photos. Some are of mountains, beaches, city lights, and quiet gardens. Others are of delicious food that I’ve tried during my trips. Sometimes I even take random shots like a flower on the side of the road, a cup of coffee by the window, or the sunset reflecting on a building. Each picture tells a small story of where I’ve been and what I’ve experienced. I love how a single photo can hold so much emotion and memory.

Aside from traveling, another hobby that I really enjoy is hiking.

There’s something peaceful and satisfying about reaching the top of a mountain after a long walk. It’s not just about the view, but also the journey to get there the fresh air, the sound of nature, and the calm feeling when you’re surrounded by trees and open skies.

Hiking helps me clear my mind and appreciate the simple beauty of nature. I love how it makes me feel alive and connected to the world.

Sometimes I go hiking with family or friends, and sometimes I go on short solo hikes just to reflect and relax. Standing at the top of a mountain, looking down at the view below, gives me a feeling of freedom and peace. It reminds me that no matter how hard the climb might be, reaching the top always feels worth it.

Joining Hive feels like a new adventure for me. I’m really thankful to @itzcyrene for introducing me to this platform and for recruiting me here. I didn’t expect to join, but I’m glad I did because now I have a space where I can share my travel stories, photos, and thoughts like in a diary. I also want to thank @ayane-chan for helping me out and guiding me through the process. It’s because of them that I got inspired to start writing and sharing more about my experiences.

I want Hive to become like my online diary a place where I can look back at my memories and connect with others who also love to travel and explore. I’m excited to post about the different places I’ve been to, the foods I’ve tried, the people I’ve met, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. It feels nice to have a space where I can share all of this freely and meet people with the same interests.

Through my future posts, I hope to inspire others to explore, take pictures, and appreciate the world around them too. Traveling doesn’t always have to be far or expensive sometimes the best adventures are found in the simplest places. Even a short walk by the sea, a visit to a local cafe, or a hike to a nearby mountain can bring so much happiness. I believe that life becomes more meaningful when we take time to notice the little things and create memories from them.

So, to everyone reading this, thank you for welcoming me here! I’m really excited to share my adventures, photos, and thoughts with all of you. This is just the beginning, and I hope you’ll join me as I turn this account into a collection of stories from my travels and everyday moments.

I am looking forward to connecting more here. I can’t wait to show you snippets of my travels through my digicam and tell you the stories behind each photo. This is the start of something new, and I’m truly happy to be part of it.
