Hello, my dear Hivers!

Here’s the continuation of my previous blog, where I shared about our iCare Program at Bogo City Hall. After that eventful morning, the day didn’t end there , there were still more little moments worth sharing!

When we got back to the office, I didn’t bother buying food since I brought my own lunch and water. Here’s a glimpse of my packed meal , simple, healthy, and just enough to get me through the afternoon. After eating, we were allowed to have an early out from duty because we wanted to visit the school for the opening of classes.

I was really excited about this because I wanted to see the Psychology Department’s booth! If you’ve read my previous blog, I mentioned how we helped prepare some of the decorations and designs for this event , so finally seeing everything displayed made me proud and happy.

We headed straight to the campus , and since I didn’t have time to change, I just wore the same outfit I used during my duty , still neat and comfy enough for the occasion. Upon entering the gate , we were greeted by ROTC officers standing on duty, maintaining order and guiding visitors, which is typical during big school events.

The first thing that caught my eye upon entering was this “Sticky Notes Wall.” Students could freely write messages, motivational quotes, or kind words to inspire others. I found it such a creative idea , it encourages positivity and reminds everyone that small messages can brighten someone’s day.

By the time we arrived, it was already around 3 PM, so the main opening program had ended. But even so, the atmosphere was still lively! Music was playing, students were roaming around the booths, and each department had their own creative displays.

As we entered the quadrangle, we saw colorful hanging decorations that looked like part of a game setup. Nearby , the CBA Department was proudly displaying and selling their handmade crafts , from small keychains to creative flowers made by their students. It’s always inspiring to see how much effort and talent students pour into their work.

And of course, here’s our very own booth , the Psych Department’s stall! Our theme was inspired by Squid Game , and we named it “PSYCHADE.” It was one of the most eye-catching booths in the area , filled with bright colors and playful designs that represented creativity and teamwork. Our display stood out not just for its theme but also because of the effort everyone put in to make it come alive.

Beside us were the Criminology students’ booths , who were also selling their own products and showcasing their creativity. I love seeing how every department brings its own flavor and energy during events like this , it really shows how united and diverse our school community is.

And that wraps up today’s blog, my dear Hivers!
Thank you so much for reading and for joining me once again on another memorable day of learning, connection, and fun. Each experience ,whether at the City Hall or the campus , reminds me how much growth happens in simple, everyday moments.

Until next time, stay positive and keep shining!
