The Hustle Was Silent—The Results Aren’t

I haven’t posted in quite a while over a year, to be exact. No, I didn’t vanish or disappear. Life simply got busy and hectic, demanding, and at times, completely consuming. But looking back now, I can say that this past year has been one of the most challenging and happy periods of my life.

During that time, I was focused in completing my thesis and capstone project two heavy tasks that needed every ounce of my energy, discipline, and determination I could muster. Those who have been there know the pressure, the constant revisions, looming deadlines, sleepless nights, the "sabog" era, and the puro reklamo moments dahil tambak na ang for deadline and revisions. There were moments when it felt like I was climbing two mountains at once. But despite those chaotic moments, I discovered the power of resilience. I learned the value of patience (the super mahabang patience), the strength in persistence, and the importance of trusting the process even when the outcome felt distant or unclear.

At the same time, I was undergoing my internship. Balancing academic rigor with the fast pace of real-world experience was no small feat. I never anticipated just how much this dual pressure would challenge me not just intellectually, but emotionally and mentally as well. But in that space of challenge, growth took root. I had the opportunity to work with remarkable individuals who helped shape not only my skills but also myself belief. I gained insights that no textbook could teach and learned lessons I’ll carry with me throughout my career.

After months of pushing through the hard timesthrough every stress-filled moment, sleepless night, emotional breakdown, and triumphant breakthrough I made it. Last August, I graduated. 🎓💛 That milestone alone was enough to fill me with pride, but the blessings didn’t stop there (thank you lord).

Soon after, I was offered a job something that still feels surreal to say out loud like totoo ba to? sure na ba kayo HAHA. There were countless moments when I doubted myself if kakayanin ko ba o baka naman gusto ko lang mag work dahil lahat sila working na, meanwhile me is still in my house doing nothing. But here I am, stepping into a new chapter of my life with gratitude, humility. I’m learning every day, embracing the challenges with a different mindset, and feeling more confident in the direction that i chose to take.

None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support system na sinamahan ako sa lahat. To my friends thank you. Thank you for being there through it all: for the late-night calls, the pep talks, the arguments, the laughs, the breakdowns, and the celebrations. Your constant love and encouragement carried me forward even when I didn’t believe I could keep going. You reminded me of who I was and what I was capable of. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

To my family—you are my foundation, and I will never take that for granted. This achievement is not just mine; it’s ours.

So, here’s to growth. To resilience. To real friends. And to brand-new beginnings. 🌱✨
