The charismatic Snapie mascot of the Hivesnaps DApp, drawn on a Cuban bill. (Loving HIVE) [ENG] [ESP]

Hello, Hive family, lovers of art and handmade crafts. Today I wanted to do something different: a fanart drawing on a 10-peso Cuban bill. The inspiration was Snapie, the mascot related to the new DApp Hivesnaps, an instant messaging platform that is being a great help to the entire community.

I enjoyed giving my own representation to the illustration, in a kind of application marketing style, without changing the characteristics of the original animated character. I did it in a traditional way with paint and colors on the money. I really liked the result and I hope you like it too and enjoy it. Join me! 🤗

¡Hola!, Familia Hive, amantes del arte y trabajos manuales. Hoy quise hacer algo diferente, pues un dibujo fanart en un billete de 10 pesos cubanos. La inspiración fue Snapie, la mascota relacionada con la nueva DApp Hivesnaps, una plataforma para mensajes instantáneos que está siendo de gran ayuda para toda la comunidad.

Aprecié darle una representación propia a la ilustración, en modo marketing de la aplicación sin cambiar las características del animado original, lo realize de manera tradicional con pintura y colores sobre el dinero, el resultado me gusto mucho y espero le guste a ustedes también y lo disfruten. ¡Acompáñame! 🤗

What is Hivesnaps?

It is known as a microblogging platform because you can only write a maximum of 280 characters and upload a photo or GIF. In other words, if we compare it to Web2, it's like posting a story on Instagram or a post on X. This dapp is for being closer to the public on the Hive blockchain and the things that happen to us day to day.

La aplicación se conoce como un microbloging ya que solo puedes escribir un máximo de 280 caracteres y subir una foto o gif. Es decir si lo comparamos con web2 es como subir una historia a instagram o un post a X. Esta dapp es para esta mas cerca del público en la colmena y de las cosas que nos pasan día a día.

The app is available for Android and Apple. After downloading it for my iPhone and exploring its functions and options for sending short, instant messages to the #hive community, I decided to test it out. I created a short snap about my latest drawing post for the Loving Hive community.

I recommend downloading and trying it; it's very useful and easy to use—another great option for Hive lovers.

La app está para android y apple, al descargarla para el iPhone y ver sus funciones y opciones para realizar mensajes cortos e instantáneos a la comunidad #hive. Decidí probarla, desarrolle un snap corto sobre mi último post del dibujo para la comunidad Loving Hive. Lo Recomiendo descargar y probar esta muy útil y de fácil manejo, otra opción para los amantes de la colmena.

In the following I will show you step by step the realization of my work. To begin with, I will mention all the materials used:

A continuación les mostraré paso a paso la realización de mi trabajo. Para empezar, mencionaré todos los materiales utilizados:

In the initial stage, I start by drawing the sketch of Snapie with a 4H pencil, which I use to make it easier to erase in case of any mistakes. I always like to begin by using basic shapes to get better proportions when drawing it.

En la fase inicial comienzo realizando un dibujo del boceto de Snapie, con el lápiz 4H, el cual lo utilizo para que sea más fácil borrar en caso de algún error, el comienzo siempre me gusta hacerlo en forma de figuras para obtener mejor medida a la hora de pintarlo.

Once the pencil process is finished, we paint the mascot's logo and "hive" with a fine brush, using white, red, and blue acrylic paint, and the black pen to make the details stand out.

Una vez finalizado el proceso con lápiz, pintamos con el pincel fino el logo de la mascota y hive, utilizando pintura acrílica blanca, rojo, azul y la pluma de color negra para resaltar bien sus detalles.

Finally, we move on to the final touches and lettering, adding a coat of matte acrylic varnish to give the bill more shine. This design was a bit more interesting to execute.

Ya por último pasamos a los retoques finales y letras, agregando una pasada de barniz acrílico mate para darle más brillo al billete. Este diseño un poco más curioso de realizar.

It's worth mentioning that this design was sourced from @snapie profile, but the idea and execution are my own, done with great dedication for you.

With the black drawing pen, I finished outlining the final details. I hope you like the final result; I loved it, even though I have little experience painting bills. I will return with new ideas to share with you all. See you soon, and have an excellent week.

Cabe destacar que este diseño fue buscado en el perfil de @snapie, pero la idea y realización están hechas por mí con mucha dedicación para ustedes.

Con la pluma de dibujo negro terminé de delinear los últimos detalles. Espero que les guste el resultado final, a mí me encanto, a pesar de tener poca experiencia en pintar billetes, volveré con nuevas ideas para compartir con vosotros, nos vemos pronto y excelente semana.
