Hi dearies, how are you all doing? This is my second time making a post here in the DIYHub community and I am here to show you all my drawing which I am very proud of, because I never knew I had it in me to create such.
Just when I thought I didn't have any creative juice in me, I surprised myself today! I think I understand when they say that you can do anything you put your mind to do.
Yesterday and today were public holidays to celebrate Salah over here, so I didn't get to go to work. I was just messing around and I just randomly decided to create a drawing of a mushroom. I set to work, determined to see it through and I was amazed at what I was able to achieve.
So I will be taking you all through the entire process, so just follow me.
To achieve this beautiful drawing of mine, I used the following materials.
Materials
Sketch pad
Pencil
Eraser
Black pen
I also followed the following steps to draw…
Procedure
Step 1:
I first made an outline of the cap of the mushroom which is a bit shaped like an umbrella using my pencil. Getting the shape was a bit tricky, but after several attempts, I was able to get it.
Step 2:
Secondly, I was able to draw the stem of the mushroom, this stem wasn't just an ordinary or boring-looking stem hehe, as it had eyes which I was able to include, and also a cute mouth. I know you haven't seen such, but anything is possible, especially when creating stuff.
Step 3:
At this point, I created the demarcation between the cap and the stem and also added a bit of detail with some strokes. I was also able to draw the semi-circles on the cap and shaded them for effect.
Step 4:
I also drew the hands of my mushroom, I tried to make it as stylish as possible, the hands were to add extra effect and make the drawing stand out and come alive.
Step 5:
To conclude my drawing I shaded and thickened the outlines of the drawing with a black pen to give it a bright shining and polished look.
Viola, this was the final look I achieved.
I hope you loved it as much as I loved creating it. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comment section.
I also powered up 10 Hives today as it's power up day and powering up is what we do today
