Que alegría encontrarme interactuando con ustedes en este hermoso e inspirador mes de Octubre con temática tropical.
Hoy, les quiero compartir el centro de mesa en forma de isla , que confeccioné inspirada en mi tierra natal Cuba, isla tropical que cautiva por su flora, fauna, geografía ¡Comencemos !

✨Centro de mesa: Isla tropical ✨

✨Modo de confección ✨

Diversas son las formas que podemos confeccionar el centro de mesa personalizado para asemejarlo a nuestra isla nativa, yo opté por resaltar su vegetación, actividad pesquera, creándolo en tres momentos.
En un primer momento creé la base de la isla , en un segundo momento, cocoteros y cocos , y en un tercer momento, un bote pesquero.

✨Pasos para crear la base de la isla

En una cartulina , vamos a dibujar con ayuda de un lapicero y un objeto de base circular, vaso, una circunferencia , y seguidamente , con ayuda de una tijera cortaremos por la guía trazada. Luego, con papel maleable y pega elaborada de harina, vamos a generarle relieve en toda la superficie, a la que mantendremos con aspecto corrugado y consistencia fuerte, dándole dos capas de empapelado en su totalidad.Dejamos secar cuatro horas.

✨Pasos para crear cocoteros

Los cocoteros se asemejan a las palmas tropicales, para su creación dividí el proceso en la realización de sus hojas, tronco, fruto: coco.

Pasos para realizar las hojas :

En una cartulina dibujamos el modelo de hoja deseada.Seguidamente, recortamos por la guía trazada, y con papel maleable y pega elaborada de harina, generaremos relieve en su superficie. Luego, le aportaremos dureza dándole una capa de empapelado en su totalidad.

Pasos para realizar el tronco:

Recortamos un rectángulo de cartulina con las dimensiones de altura del cocotero deseado.Luego, enrollamos la cartulina conformando un pequeño tabaco, al que mantendremos con esta estructura utilizando pegamento. Seguidamente, con papel maleable y pega elaborada de harina, vamos aportarle grosor en su región central, dándole un aspecto natural.Continuamos el proceder, dándole dos capas de empapelado en su totalidad, para generar dureza.

Pasos para realizar los cocos:

Estrujamos papel maleable conformando pequeñas bolas.Seguidamente, le damos dos capas de empapelado con tiras de papel blanco y pega elaborada de harina.

Ya teniendo creados el tronco, penacho y coco, pasaremos a unificarlos con pegamento y seguidamente, a darle una capa de empapelado en su totalidad, logrando obtener los cocoteros bien conformados.

✨Pasos para crear el barco pesquero

Tomamos un pequeño papel cuadrado y vamos a realizarle dobleces, conformando el pequeño barco peculiar de nuestra infancia.Ya teniéndolo creado , vamos a personalizarlo a nuestro gusto con papel maleable y pega elaborada de harina, yo , le realicé cóncava su región central y le creé un remo conformando un pequeño tabaco.

Hasta aquí, tenemos creadas las partes de nuestro centro de mesa tropical en forma de isla, ahora, pasaremos a unificarlas con pegamento, y luego, le daremos una capa de empapelado dejándolo listo para decorar con pinceles y acuarelas después de su secado.
Verde, marrón, naranja, negro, azul, fueron algunas de las tonalidades que empleé para darle vida a la isla, además de las pequeñas conchas marinas recicladas y la arena decorativa.

There are different ways that we can make the personalized centerpiece to resemble our native island, I chose to highlight its vegetation, fishing activity, creating it in three moments.
At first I created the base of the island, at a second moment - coconut trees and coconuts, and at a third moment - a fishing boat.

✨Steps to create the base of the island

On a cardboard, we are going to draw with the help of a pencil and a circular base object, glass, a circumference, and then, with the help of a scissors we will cut along the traced guide. Then, with malleable paper and glue made of flour, we are going to generate relief on the entire surface, which we will keep with a corrugated appearance and strong consistency, giving it two layers of wallpaper in its entirety.We let it dry for four hours.

✨Steps to create coconut trees

Coconut trees resemble tropical palms, for their creation I divided the process in the realization of their sheets, trunk, fruit: coconut.

Steps to make the sheets:

On a cardboard we draw the desired sheet model.Then, we cut along the traced guide, and with malleable paper and glue made of flour, we will generate relief on its surface. Then we will give him hardness by giving him a layer of wallpaper in its entirety.

Steps to make the trunk:

We cut out a rectangle of cardboard with the height dimensions of the desired coconut tree.Then, we roll the cardboard forming a small tobacco, which we will keep with this structure using glue. Then, with malleable paper and glue made of flour, we will add thickness in its central region, giving it a natural appearance.We continue the procedure, giving it two layers of wallpaper in its entirety, to generate hardness.

Steps to make the coconuts

We squeeze malleable paper forming small balls.Then, we give two layers of wallpaper with strips of white paper and paste made of flour.

Having already created the trunk, tuft and coconut, we will unify them with glue and then, to give a layer of wallpaper in its entirety, managing to obtain the well-shaped coconut trees.

✨Steps to create the fishing boat

We take a small square paper and we are going to make folds to it, forming the peculiar little boat of our childhood.Having already created it, we are going to customize it to our liking with malleable paper and glue made of flour, I made its central region concave and created a paddle forming a small tobacco.

So far, we have created the parts of our tropical centerpiece in the form of an island, now, we will unify them with glue, and then, we will give it a layer of wallpaper leaving it ready to decorate with brushes and watercolors after drying.
Green, brown, orange, black, blue, were some of the shades I used to give life to the island, in addition to the small recycled seashells and the decorative sand.
