Concurso jueves de TBT Una foto Una historia Un día de esos / Las décimas de mi abuela [ES/EN]

Feliz jueves de TBT para todos en la comunidad @hive-192096 y nuevamente agradecer a nuestro amigo @lanzjoseg por esta oportunidad de compartir nuestros recuerdos.

En esta ocasión les traigo una foto en la que aparecen mi sobrino Yeidel, hijo de mi hermana, aparece mi hija @lianny y mi abuela por parte de madre que ya no esta con nosotros, su nombre era Consuelo. En esta ocasión como tantas otras estabamos compartiendo en familia, en la casa de mi madre y como siempre mi abuelita se inspiraba y comenzaba a recitar décimas elaboradas por ella misma, mientras mi sobrino guitarrista autodidacta por aquel entonces hacia la música. Mi abuela no tenia una educación elevada por así decirlo, de hecho fue alfabetizada en la campaña que se hizo a principios de la revolución, pero si tenia ese don de componer décimas. Su memoria era prodigiosa y se mantuvo así hasta que fallecio a los 97 años. Mi hija en una ocasión se dió a la tarea de digitalizar todas sus décimas labor que le tomo algun tiempo pero lo logró y le dió al final la satisfacción de verlas impresas.

Lo cierto es que ese día, como muchos se paso muy bien, pero sobre todo me gusta pensar que ella lo disfruto muchísimo. Con los años las personas mayores se van sintiendo solos, debido a que los jovenes tienen otros temas de conversación, enfocados en la tecnología y la vida agetreada y se olvidan de los mayores. Por eso me alegra mucho cada vez que veo esta foto y muchas iguales en las que los mas jovenes de mi familia le dedicaron tiempo a estar con su bisabuela. Había que ver la alegría que le daba al verse rodeada de nietos y bisnietos. Tengo muchas otras de ese día, pero quise señalar esta especialmente.

Hasta aqui mi TBT de hoy les confieso que recorde, mientras lo hacía, muchas cosas. Por esto creo que el premio mayor de este ejercicio o iniciativa de nuestro amigo @lanzjoseg es precisamente ese, nos hace recordar momentos pasados y vivencias gratas. Es una característica distintiva del ser humano, capaz de recordar y homenajear a los que ya no están y de alegrarnos también con cada recuerdo.

Happy TBT Thursday to everyone in the @hive-192096 community, and once again I want to thank our friend @lanzjoseg for this opportunity to share our memories.

On this occasion, I bring you a photo where my nephew Yeidel, my sister’s son, appears along with my daughter @lianny and my maternal grandmother, who is no longer with us. Her name was Consuelo. That day, as on so many other occasions, we were gathered as a family in my mother’s house, and as always, my grandmother was inspired and began to recite décimas composed by herself, while my nephew—who was a self-taught guitarist back then—played the music. My grandmother did not have a high level of formal education, in fact, she was taught to read and write during the literacy campaign at the beginning of the revolution, but she had that gift for composing décimas. Her memory was prodigious and remained so until she passed away at the age of 97. At one point, my daughter took on the task of digitizing all her décimas, a job that took her some time, but she succeeded, and in the end gave my grandmother the satisfaction of seeing them printed.

The truth is that day, like many others, was very pleasant, but above all, I like to think that she enjoyed it tremendously. As the years go by, elderly people often feel lonely because young people have different conversations, focused on technology and hectic lives, and they forget about the elders. That’s why I feel so happy every time I see this photo and many others like it, in which the younger ones in my family dedicated time to being with their great-grandmother. You had to see the joy it gave her to be surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I have many more from that day, but I especially wanted to highlight this one.

This is my TBT for today, and I must confess that while doing it, I remembered many things. For this reason, I believe the greatest reward of this exercise or initiative from our friend @lanzjoseg is precisely that—it makes us recall past moments and pleasant experiences. It is a distinctive characteristic of human beings, being able to remember and honor those who are no longer with us, and also to bring joy with each memory.
