Dreaming of summer - watercolors on paper

Hello, dear Hivers friends, and welcome back to my blog. Today, I'm sharing a watercolor painting inspired by the very rainy autumn season that is raging here in Lazio, Italy. So, I picked up my brushes and watercolors and painted a summer scene linked to my childhood memories. I decided to create a composition with the sea, a sunset, and lots of seasonal fruit with amphorae and terracotta vases.
In short, a scene that bodes well for reawakening optimism.

Sognando l'estate - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un soggetto ad acquarello che mi è stato ispirato dalla stagione autunnale molto piovosa che imperversa qui, nel Lazio, Italia. Così ho preso pennelli e acquarelli ed ho rappresentato una scena estiva legata anche ai miei ricordi d'infanzia. Ho pensato di creare una composzione con il mare, un tramonto e tanta frutta di stagione con anfore e vasi in terracotta.
Insomma una scena di buon auspicio per risvegliare l'ottimismo.
