White flag - watercolors on paper

Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my personal depiction of a war scenario where a central figure raises, in a last desperate gesture, a white flag. Personally, I am truly concerned and sickened by all the wars in the world. I feel a sense of disgust in front of the massacres of children and civilians, defenseless population that has nothing to do with war at all. We have little chance to change this horrible trend, I talk about it almost every day with my students and sometimes we try to express it through art forms, but unfortunately it is not enough to stop genocides like in Gaza.

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido una mia personale rappresentazione di uno scenario di guerra dove una figura centrale alza, in un ultimo disperato gesto, una bandiera bianca. Personalmente sono veramente preoccupato e nauseato da tutte le guerre del mondo. Provo un senso di disgusto daventi ai massacri di bambini e civili, popolazione inerme che non centra affatto con la guerra. Abbiamo poche possibilità per cambiare questo andamento orribile, ne parlo quasi ogni giorno con i miei studenti e talvolta cerchiamo di esprimerlo attraverso le forme di arte, ma purtroppo non basta per fermare genocidi come a Gaza.
