Such a bittersweet story. I admire how you’re handling it, disappointed but understanding. Billy Joel’s music really is timeless and hearing your thoughts made me want to revisit some of his songs.

You could spend a whole day diving into his stuff! Good luck and thank you!

Sorry to hear about your disappointment, that is unfortunate. Hopefully, you'll get to see him another time if his health improves. My wife and I had a similar experience; we had tickets to see Britney Spears at her Las Vegas residency in 2019 and it was cancelled. It didn't take long to get our money back from Ticketmaster, hopefully your refund won't take long either.

Thanks in the grand scheme of things, it is pretty minor, but it still sucks a bit. Ah yeah, that sucks you weren't able to see Britney. Sadly I am not sure you would want to these days. She kind of went off the rails!

True, in the grand scheme it's not so important compared to family, health, etc!

Oh that is a shame about Billy Joel. That is one of the drawbacks now when we book tickets to see musicians we have know through the ages.
I hope he recovers and that would have been a great concert with him and Stevie Nicks.

Yeah, like is said, his health is most important, but it will still be a bummer if we never get to see him live.

Oh well fingers crossed and all that

Yeah, Billy is 76 years old! I am surprised he was even considering a tour at his age. And as far as musicians go he made it to a very old age...

My favorite song from the three always was For the Longest Time. Have not heard Billy for a very long time and this is still my favorite song of his.

I didn't realize he was that old, but it makes sense. I was surprised we got to see Elton John before he called it quits. We will see what ends up happening here. It's not like he needs the money... :)

Unfortunately, age happens to all of us. But if possible, I hope he can recover from whatever is going on.

All great songs! Lately my son has been listening to "My Life" almost nonstop so I'd probably include that in my list. But really, almost any of his songs would work!

I always wanted to see the broadway show that he did with Twila Clark or whatever her name was. I think that song was the title of the show, but I don't remember for sure.
