Last Minute Gig: October 18 2025 [eng/deu]

The day is not over yet, but I'm calling it a day with my step count as a last minute gig in Little Wymondley near Hitchin came in earlier that will keep us busy.
Apparently, the band they had booked couldn't make it, and we have nothing on today. I was going to see my friend Mark play a gig in Stevenage; he was the one who put the call out for the pub so I won't.. and isn't it ironic, don't you think? 😂

I went for our usual longish walk with the girls this morning and spent my lunchtime cleaning the oven of my house that is getting a new tenant tomorrow. It was in a right mess and I wasn't pleased at all!

I'll practice some Halloween tunes in a bit as we are preparing for our gig at the Albert in Hitchin on 31/10/

Der Tag ist noch nicht vorbei, aber ich beende meine Schrittzahl, da wir kurzfristig einen Auftritt in Little Wymondley bei Hitchin ergattert haben, der uns auf Trab halten wird.

Anscheinend hat die gebuchte Band abgesagt, und wir haben heute nichts vor. Ich wollte eigentlich meinen Freund Mark in Stevenage spielen sehen; er hat für den Pub nach einer Band gefragt, also werde ich nicht hingehen … and isn't it ironic, don't you think? 😂

Heute Morgen habe ich unseren üblichen langen Spaziergang mit den Mädels gemacht und meine Mittagspause damit verbracht, den Ofen in meinem Haus zu putzen, das morgen einen neuen Mieter bekommt. Es war ein richtiges Chaos, und ich war überhaupt nicht erfreut!

Ich werde gleich ein paar Halloween-Songs üben, da wir uns auf unseren Auftritt im Albert in Hitchin am 31.10. vorbereiten.
